not entirely. if they can make pinch to zoom in ovi map really smooth, then they can make the stock app smooth as well if certain code is depend on the GPU.

the slow/lag of N8 is due to unoptimized coding, they can easily fix it with coding performance optimization...look at C5, suppose to perform slower then S^3, and using just 600Mhz, but from what i experience with my mom's unit, it's fast, almost everything responded instantly. They just need more time to fine tune the codes, this is a programmer's life

GPGPU? seriously? do u know how many trouble you would get into just to add more support for it? You have to code with specific API and coding language, and also some special coding method to add support. PC, for example, nVidia's CUDA, supports C and C++ langauge for now, and that also, you need to include their pre defined API, not only that, you will also need to use most of their specific methods. Do you think anyone would go through that much trouble to create a faster but shorter battery life device? Not to mention, GPGPU standards like CUDA, Stream, OpenCL isnt supported in Symbian(like hell it would), that also means nokia would need to use more time and resource to develop their own GPGPU API standard?

make some sense la, it's always easy for end user to say this say that, but for once try to think of the complexity of your 'suggestion' can a not?

Yeah, and I think wanna remove the cheap SP and use the glass screen instead.

hehe... for just fb/online browsing i would say enuf kua... use my dataplan for about 4 days total usage ~60mb...
but later i will go for digi unlimited... hehehe... full web experience... worry free..

I'm on the road to become a programmer soon. Right now I have learned C/C++/Visual Basic/Web Programming, haven't yet Java, and other programming stuff. Not a real programmer yet, and I know how hard to do the code and I'm pretty stuck with my project thinking of the right code now. Btw, now we won't call Symbian^3 anymore, it's just Symbian, Nokia already says it. 

maybe the reply u got are from India technical support group kut.... LOL
