i had another 1 which in closer shot. the fluorescent light. but appear to be the same problem.

anyway i did email nokia last week about this problem. Hopefully next software update will solve this problem.

or perhaps it's due to n8 shutter is "cirle", thats why the light look round. dig more in dslr, and you find that some shutter are in 4 or 6 or 8 (i dunno how it call in eng. 快门叶片的形状,及多少快门叶片)
i just remember that the nokia n8 shutter is actually in a round shape...i think the problem is due to that?
*
if that is the shutter problem.. u have to put the blame to carl zeiss loh.. don blame nokia oh.... nod.gif nod.gif laugh.gif

I still really donno ur problem actually....

u want the photo to have a balance light output... the lamp etc sure over expose one... it happen to all camera..

Had a 5800 b4 this. The first few months was just terrible but apparently the N97 users got it worse than the 5800 users. I guess that's what you get when you go for something that is so new in the market.
*
basically.. every single new phone I encounter from Nokia symbian need to some time to stable down... why some other manufacturer can do better in new initial release phone.. hmm.gif hmm.gif

Kelvin also mention.. when their top management said release it.. have to do so.. .. commercial decision...

ok...there is something on my mind now.

remember if using dslr, when there is let say 6 aperture blades. use 30 second (easier to see the differences), you can see the artificial light is sharp edge (if i not remember wrongly).
so when come to n8, the blade is actually in round shape. so when you take the photo, it make the artificial light look round, sharp edge?

can someone clarify this?  hmm.gif
*
I dont have an N8.. how many blade in N8 ?? if less.. mean there will be some different.. coz it can't create a better round shape when opening n close...

*
why u so hate Symbian? sei Ifag... tongue.gif laugh.gif hahahaha.....

SGS problem is not software oh.. is hardware design fault... they use interior SD as a Cache.. the speed are too slow to use as Cache... that's why SGS lag... not the software or file system or watever problem...

I hang at least 10+ times already which is annoying and i noticed once it crashes and i reboot , it will crash again . At least 3-4 times only stable back.
*
I don't want to emphasis this la.. in this thread.. ppl will defend this kind of talk..

same you go to N97 V1 thread.. plenty of ppl defending the same way.. end up all those user also abandon N97....

tell out the fact only will make Nokia make the firmware better.. sweep it under the table will not make much good...

how sad.. ppl like to keep it...

Well, since relying on processor is a s***, why not relying on GPGPU like BuFung says? And broadcom GPU is 2nd most powerful GPU on smartphone today after Nvidia Tegra (someone posted the link b4, can't find it now). Hope Nokia could utilize the GPU more coz it seems a waste let the GPU under-utilize like that hmm.gif
*
it is a OS level of thing to re-write that layer to use GPU.. doing so.. I don't think that OS is call Symbian anymore...
