anyone face this issue on LoL America?

"the launcher has encountered an error, please restart the application".

It stops after copying at 10% (update patch), kept trying but the thing just disappears each time.

We can't get into LoL America already is it? Kinda left out as I was not playing for some time...

wow the load screen for LOL is entirely different now... can i disabled the shield or wait till patching is complete first? When's the right time to disable hotspot?

my god the patch is super long... i just finish downloading 100MB and now another 127MB just started... is it normal?

I cant see the green download bar.. im wondering if i shud switch on the hotspot first, yet that would reduce my download speed to a mere 10kbps... sigh

Anyway I have invested (RPs) quite a bit in NA server liao so I won't be changing.

win more games then u will up very fast... i won near to 100+ games and it hit lvl 30 in an instant...

flying spaghetti monster have non stop disappoint me so far from their broken websites to their messenger and this client once again proved it...

will stick to NA till one day can't access (hopefully that day wont come)

i'm playing NA getting around 200 - 250 ping. slight lag the most... usually smooth, able to win games.

once u have login to it and it becomes green. Launch LOL NA client... wait till it becomes "available" instead of "block".

Then close the Hotspot shield thing (by right clicking and exit)...

Viola, you are able to access NA server now. No lag nothing.. as normal (best is use spybot/malwarebytes to clean your system of adwares to prevent any laggy during gameplay, removing wares before playing makes a huge difference)

That is all to it, enjoy NA server!! I'm still playing there... nick: MarkXKiller

yeah close it once u see green words... when the update start u close it also ok...

else will slow... everything will slow with that ip shield active. Even downloading updates take longer.

shit i cant go into LOL at all even after running hotspot shield.. it says "BLOCKED".

Anyone having the same problem?

having problem with NA latency too.. since the downtime on last weekend. Really lag spikes in every game regardless wat time i play.

coz NA is a more civilized place to be... and it's handled by Riot, not retarded gayrena.

start using Firefox *as the above only protects IE and Firefox with its immunization (need manual apply after every update). Spybot DOES NOT protect Google Chrome browser with its immunization (means u have to manual scan with spybot every time u open up Facebook #$@#%*)

and come back here to tell us if it works or not.

Had the same issue with you previously. Found out that Facebook (especially) have tons of spywares/adwares hiding in their games, home page etc. You need an active spyware shield to block off those nasty things. I recommend spybot coz it's 100% free (dont judge it by it's simple looks) and it's able to remove almost 100% of wares out there + its active shield working with Firefox.. is just so awesome (reduces the need to scan often, unless u visit alot porn/xxx websites and exposing ur pc to even newer spy/adwares!)

Combine with Malwarebytes it is able to remove 100% of your PC's spywares/adwares:

(use the trial version only, difference with paid is it has no shield)

And final tip is to close your browsers when you play... it does reduce your ping to around 30.

The ping that I get nowadays with the above steps is around 250-270 *using P1 wimax mind you. I bet unifi can be much faster than this.

Nowadays after switching to Firefox, scanning using spybot manually every week would return with ZERO infections! Awesome.. the active immunization works great! (u can find this tool under Spybot home interface > immunize)

Hope this helps (i'm in IT Technical Support field btw, just sharing what I know).

note: Ad-aware is just overated. I'm a user of it before. The freeversion only has a basic scanner and no active protection. Spybot is both FREE and has ACTIVE PROTECTION (tea-timer is another of spybot's active protection other than the immunization for IE/firefox).

If you STILL DONT KNOW what spywares/adwares does to your PC... you're being so naive... it LEECHES your bandwidth unknowingly. Sometimes you think opening a webpage is ok but why is your PING SO DAMN HIGH? Most likely coz by these wares... very bad for online game enthusiast, frequent downloaders, and also bad for the whole internet community as such wares are SUPPOSE to be ILLEGAL but dunno why they are allowed to thrive in most webpages that we visit. Who would like stuffs that steal our internet connectivity for their own commercial purposes? (data stealing, collecting information, acquiring of browsing habits etc)

having the IP shield (e.g. hotspot shield) connected while playing will significantly increase your ping as well during game in NA/EU servers.
