actually, LED cannot stand continuously on and off abuse, they will die alot sooner, as well as changing light brightness to dimm, they just cannot stand of those.

you can understand this fact by observing traffic light. Those with Numbers Digit Die faster than those Red Yellow Green.

200RMB? Kind of impressed by the mininess over normal tenkeyless/compact. The key caps had a similar incurve like Logitech's incurve key which i really like. drool.gif
+ postage to Malaysia RM150 enough? If enough help me order one and i COD with you when it arrive. nod.gif

Thru Taobao Agent.

Shipping to Malaysia RM50+ above, Courier Fee from Taobao Agent to your house RM10+, Taobao Agent Tax service 10~15% price.

oh no , my hope is gone. Guru'board cancels Miniguru keyboard project
reason is "lost faith in being able to sell the initial production run."

(: too expensive . all mechanical keyboard is expensive.

the whole thing behind is a successfully marketing plan by cherry MX switch (:  .

http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/22/guruboa...yboard-project/
*
Lew999999, miniguru project already stopped, he decided to release mini kit instead of the miniguru keyboard.

there's a good duplication Keyboard called KCB Poker. And It's has Cherry MX Red Choice TOO!!

miniguru keyboard pack with great software control .  have no idea about this mini poker (: , very scare of buying unmature product that develop by china mainland sad.gif .

KBC China is one of the custom key cap manufacturer and they are experienced, trust me. Mechanical Keyboard has existed in China long time ago, and Cherry MX manufacturer and Cherry Company are located in China.

You can't really based on other made in china product to compare with China Mechanical Keyboard. laugh.gif

well, depends on how people look at those keycaps.

i interesting on the aluminiun keycaps too... can let me join? biggrin.gif
*
Sure, i'll let you know once i got any information. maybe i'll set up bulk order or something.

QUOTE(KepalaRadio @ Mar 17 2011, 08:57 AM)
Lol isn't aluminium a little overkill?
*
well, i'm not replacing entire keyboard keycaps with aluminium. just the ESC and WASD, since they are frequently use in every game, it's better that way.

if you gonna say overkill, it would be titanium keycaps, those Keycaps are godlike with price tag of 18$ USD per key, and spacebar cost 100$ USD

QUOTE(kEazYc @ Mar 17 2011, 11:16 AM)
I can't imagine spamming on aluminium keycap when playing o2jam... my finger are gonna pain like hell =.=
*
dude... replacing keycaps does not make the key to be harder, so it doesn't makes your finger suffer pain issue.

But it does reduce the force require to press the key, so the key with aluminium key caps are much softer instead.(because it's heavier.)

QUOTE(angelofro @ Mar 17 2011, 11:22 AM)
lol.. i really want try use it to play note game... want try the feel.... tongue.gif
*
note game? you want buy certain keys or full set? the aluminium key doesn't have full sets thou. it has small keycaps, but not the one like spacebar, ctrl, alt, shift, backspace, enter, sinc maker doesn't have the molding for creating those large key and making a custom molding cost ALOT.

Does he only have the printed keys for WASD and ESC?
*
What do you mean printed keys ?
what i do know is that, he doesn't have the custom mold to do large key like CTRL, Enter, Spacebar, Shift, Backspace. pretty much every key that is larger than those normal size.

QUOTE(angelofro @ Mar 17 2011, 02:12 PM)
the keycaps height is?

http://www.kbdmania.net/xe/1064211

Check the link above, the picture probably gonna explain everything that you wanted to know.

Keycaps height? not sure, but i think it follows Cherry's keycap Dimension.

Ou well, i might as well post the picture here.

I mean like he just showed blank keycaps and apparently has keycaps printed for WASD and ESC keys. Was asking if he has printed keycaps other than WASD and ESC.
*
Metal Keycaps don't have printed fonts, and this guy is doing this alone, not some keycap manufacturer.

But it's possible to have engraving font to them, but requires alot of work.

You will shit brick if you go the modifications part. rolleyes.gif

well, they are my idol, but it's impossible for us to invest with such limited budget.

I actually already shitbrick couples of times watching their modification.

IF my keyboard business is successful, i'll try to purchase sandblast machine as well as a invest myself building a CNC Mill project for future custom keycaps. wish me luck by then rclxub.gif
