QUOTE(koj @ Nov 6 2010, 03:33 PM) just wonder.....if we download Kies exe from UK Samsung site and install, can this replace Kies hack for Froya flashing??? No, all KIES are same from wherever you download. It is the product code in your phone. You can fake it by doing registry hack. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Nov 6 2010, 03:48 PM |

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Nov 6 2010, 08:28 PM) guys, I'm thinking of getting an android phone, and one of them in my mind is the Galaxy S (the other is desire Z, but that's a story for another day). So far I'm very impressed wit the reviews and stuff. I hate how TouchWiz looks but I guess I can get it replaced with LauncherPro. Does his shop actually do sell SGS? Thing is, today I went to a shop and inquire, the fella tell me the SGS has lots of problem and complaints. I acknowledged that I know the GPS is faulty and the RFS lag issue, but he insisted that it has more problems than that. What specifics, I dunno coz he mumbled stuff like 'very expensive, got lots of problem, a lot ppl complain'. In the end I gave up and left. So, are there such extra other issues with the phone? Answers are much appreciated. I know this is a SGS thread so there's probably more praise than curses. Just trying my luck... SGS isn't perfect but not as bad as what he described. |

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Nov 6 2010, 09:24 PM) I ask if he got sell, he ask me why i wan buy and told me the 'problems', so I think he didn't take in SGS. He has a Galaxy 5 (five) on display though. Mengsuan you from Puchong right? I'm refering to the HTC shop at Digital World IOIMall. Yeah, am at Puchong. I never bought anything from the digital world in IOI mall.Is there a reason shops are selling this thing so expensive? Was quoted one at 2599 another at 2699. Crazy... If they quote you that expensive, might as well you buy it without contract from Maxis. Same price. Lol.. |

Theoretically you can also use terminal emulator to copy the files if you know the commands.

Skype doesn't have video chat capability to start with.
Your choices are Tango and Fring. |

QUOTE(skk-john @ Nov 8 2010, 06:53 PM) Help~!!! Phone can't turn on... By any chance you selected to flash Bootloader? When the phone no longer respond to charging, it indicates that the bootloader is goner. If you couldn't get it back to download mode, your option is only to replace the motherboard. You will have to drop by Samsung service center.I did the flashing for csc with using odin, after odin show pass then my phone should be going to reboots. but my phone no reboots, just nothing happen... just look like turn phone off... thn i try to on back the phone, but the phone can't on already... i have try remove the battery and put it back, still can't on the phone... try in download mode, recovery mode, on the phone, but can't... what should i do? Any methods?? or i should take my phone to samsung service centre? ... dunno y will like tat... >.< T.T |

Galaxy S audio is fantastic. Today is tried Sennheiser HD558, Grado SR225i, ATH M50, Beyerdynamic DT440, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm, Shure SRH840 Reference.
SGS is capable driving 250 ohm headphone to moderately high volume at max volume. |
