Hi there, I wanted to join the game, but I couldnt see any realm name from the realm list with US client. Mine was new client and couldnt found any realmlist.wtf in the folder. Please help T_T

If cannot see realm, go download the "font"
if no wtf, do at config

Hi all. I would like to ask whether anyone have problem login with their us client on tw server? Seems like after the latest patch, have been experiencing the unable to login problem. Being having this (BLZ51901001), tried changing DNS also but still prompt this error when login. Appreciate if anyone have managed to resolved this to assist. Thank you.

not sure if you are still playing, but i recently did a clean install and is able to connect to WoW TW by switching the region at Blizzard Launcher, no need to do those unnecessary changes that we have to do previously, and able to see and communicate with player in Traditional Chinese, by using Google Pin Yin.

As mention from previous reply, you just have to change the server location to Taiwan in your Blizzard Launcher then everything will work by its own.

ya i saw that post also but i only have Europe, US, China, Asia on my launcher

Not with my PC atm, couldn't check, if it is Asia or Taiwan, will post result later when i reach home.

EDIT: so i created a new account, can't seems to see taiwan account under account management, only NA, but i have a feeling we might need to buy a game card for WoW taiwan in order to have an account for taiwan server, it is NTD 150 which is about RM18 for the 30 hours of play time, but don't take my advise as granted.

EDIT2: registered a new account under Taiwan region, you must google for a Taiwan National ID in order to complete your registration, then viola, your WoW account will be under TW region, i submitted a ticket to Blizzard to see if there is any workaround for existing user.

how do you register a new account under taiwan region ? does that mean i will have a new battlenet account ?

i now actually have two different btag under US and TW with the same login credentials, the register link in the first page is outdated.

Yes. I am being told that the original guide of this thread is longer valid.

Since i am no longer have the game installed, (which i will once i can) i will need help from everyone to chip in their feedback on how to make wowtaiwan worked with english client.

As far as i know, and i am still pretty sure, you dont need to register another taiwan account if you already have US account. Battlenet account can be used for all region.

As for how to register and how to set the WTF, please feedback. and i will update the guide accordingly.

As for the guild. The guild is quite dormant for now. as Guildies is playing Diablo, Overwatch, Tree of Savior and other stuff. It will be continue to dormant until Legion kicked in. The previous GM of the guild is now a DR and solving real world problem, so we are running pretty thin right now.

Yes, and i still believe wowtaiwan is till one of the best place to play wow due to the latency and fees structure.

Your help is required.

Can you screenshot your account management page? So that i can see if you have setup your taiwan account or not.

I registered through any region of battle.net website, during the registration page, select your country as Taiwan, that's how i get my second account to have an WoW account under Taiwan region.

While logging in, i leave my region to be America,



Then in the Battle.net Launcher, i choose to TW, start game,



and you will be prompted with a realm list in Traditional Chinese, but the rest of the word should be in English.
