QUOTE(Taman Negara @ Nov 10 2010, 08:57 AM) ask him to sell his Vios-lah, since every people sais Vios high in secondhan value!! see how much he gonna to lose. Added on November 10, 2010, 8:59 amcm98 i think you should buy the lancer bersarung protong bcoz 'smart guy get it' r u smart??? 1) As has been said many times in the past, resale values comparisons should only be made for cars at least 5 yrs old. Cars between 1-3 yrs old will depreciate about the same regardless of brand name. 2) Well, im not that smart but smart enough to know that changing a car when the car is problem free and serves the purpose is not a wise move. I rather invest in properties and gold trading (which i have done). This gives much higher returns and probably will enable me to retire comfortably at the age of 45 which is my target.

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Nov 10 2010, 10:00 AM) Hey Xion, make sure u claim loss of usage charge from insurance. I think its about RM 50 per day. My insurer is charging RM140 annual premium for max 2 weeks of compensation for loss of use, RM50 per day. from what we heard, Forte if goes in for repair took 2-4 months so i guess all forte owners should get this so at least you have RM700 to compensate for the period loss of use. cybermaster98, what's your opinion on the EWP for Forte? worth? QUOTE(XionCity @ Nov 10 2010, 10:19 AM) acually, wat it means of looss of usage charge? It basically means you can get some compensation for the time when your car was in the workshop. In your case you can claim for the maximum. Insurance companies wont offer this to you. You have to request for it. Call your insurance company HQ and ask them the procedures for claiming this. SInce your car has already been evaluated it should be in the system. Different insurance companies will have different rates. If you can get RM 50 x 14 days (max) that means you will get additional RM 700 'income'. And since i gave u this idea, you can give me 30%.

He doesnt understand the meaning of 'investment'. I bought a property for 470K last year and this year it has already appreciated 40%. Plus i bet he has not invested enough in ASB which gives a return of approx 9% yearly. Not to mention gold dividends which has risen by about 23% this year alone. Such a pity! he's still stuck with the changing cars mentality.
