how to soft reset(aka factory default setting) on n900?

I did this earlier ~2pm. Was installing libgles for preenv via x-term... suddenly it start to download like tons of stuff... I let it finish and rebooted.. viola! PR1.3

this is the place that i put applications. i used filebox to create a folder name as applications

here is the place that i put the nfsuc file, i transfered it by using usb cable, from my comp desktop straight away throw inside the n900 applications folder.

failed to do the cd /home/user/applications/nfsuc.



what is my problem=(( sifu help me pls!!

Try this:
Open new terminal
Type "root"
Type "preenv"
Type "cd /home/user/applications/nfsuc/"
Type "chmod +rwx nfsuc"
Type "desktopgen appinfo.json"

Go to desktop & add NFSUC shortcut & try running it.

Yes.The next person who ask me this question better go buy spectacles because I've updated the frontage guide with with the proper file name & even enlarged it.

sorry sifu. guess i gotta get myself a new pair of spectacles.

thats always the problem with this folks over here in lowyat.net... dunno how to read the faq in the front page.. just ask and hope to get the answer straight away...

yeah i know maemo is hard, but newbie wont get anywhere if always been spoonfed. sometimes i feel annoyed too when someone just repetitively asking the same question or question that has been answered. no offense to newbie out there. im a newbie too

sifu...still couldn't solve the problem..stuck here..sh: cd: can't cd to /home/user/applications/nfsuc/


might if i ask, i use the filebox to create a new folder, is correct right? then how do you transfer the nfsuc into the appliactions folder?? i straight away throw into the applications from my laptop's dekstop to the n900 appliactions folder by using cable. am i correct? edit:: and i did rename it from *com.ea.app.nfsuc* to nfsuc.

Wow shocked at the file that need to upgrade PR1.3 download size is more than 200MB RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin 191MB and RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin 250MB ! Wow ! How you guys update your PR1.3 ? Manual way or Auto

seriously many ppl asking for the OC shortcut...shud pin it up in the guide in the front page...
