Try look from another point of view...Rooney has never publicly declare he wants to leave(it's SAF who said that), he only said that he was not going to sign a new contract..Then David Gill talked to the Glazers and asked them for money to invest more in the future, and they agreed..So Rooney signed a new contract..So in another words, Rooney has forced the Glazers to pull out more funds for the future
