Sorry to hear about your daughter.. I've check the cost and hospital billing for you.. Most likely your daughter had to go for re constructive surgery on the ear.. You can request for listing of doctors charges in more detail.. these includes timing (night call will have some additional cost), type of procedures by both doctors... Unfortunately the cost is still high if its involved constructive surgery.. Her ear does looks nasty ..

helo, new father to be here,my wife is 6weeks in pregnancy so we are basically clueless on which hospitals to visits. we made our 1st check up at Adventist hospitals (we are staying at Butterworth) with dr Selma Ng. so just did a general scanning and nothing much. we plan to have regular checkup,so was thinking to fix to 1 doctor.

looking at the distance,we r also considering KPJ at BM. so any recommendation for starter? we don't mind traveling to island if the doctor is good:)

anyone has a price update for birth delivery at
1) TDMC (Taman Desa Medical Centre)
2) Sunway Medical

Had casearean at Sunway Medical 3 years ago priced at RM7k plus.

The price is quite standard between each private hospital in big town. C-section 7-10k. Normal delivery with no complication 4-5k.


Want to save go government hospital. Seriously they are good. It is just that they have bad image. Go private hospital doesn't guarantee they are good. If got complication they sure recommend you go government.

They give all sort of excuses. The real reason is because they don't want to tarnish reputation and avoid troublesome lawsuit.

A father to be here. My wife is around 27~28 weeks now. Our gynae is Dr Rajan from Taman Megah, PJ and only delivers in SJMC. Does anyone know how much it costs roughly for natural birth in SJMC? and how much for C-Sec? I can't find any info on their website and they only give me estimations which are not persuasive...

my friend say C-sec can go up to 10K if got complication. and 8-9k if no complication.

Normal check up for scan and consultation is below RM150. But it can goes up to 200+ if you take medicine or multivitamin and sometimes 300+

welcome, i just ask her she say normal one is half of the c sec price.. c sec price normally is double up.. waoh..... giving birth is not only mother susah.... papa also susah fuyoh....
