Hi, does anyone here have experience with walk in delivery at Putrajaya Hospital?

My wife and I couldn't get a slot for FPP as they're fully booked and the nurse there told us to just walk in to the labour ward when it's time but she didn't explained further as she was swarmed with patients.

I'm hoping the otais taikos abangs kakaks here can share some input on the procedure of walk-in non fpp delivery at Putrajaya.

Thank you smile.gif

Late reply but my wife was a walk-in patient with my first son 3 years ago.

Simple process. Reach there night time, around 9pm if I'm not mistaken. Lucky we got a spot. So far, received the best treatment. The nurses told me I can go back first as her opening is not that big yet. So I went back, and only received a phone call before 5am by my wife saying the doc asked to call me to come.

Reach there, the nurse asked me to accompany my wife first while waiting for the proper opening. So waited and supporting my wife in the delivery room until my son was born. Nice female doctor. Overall the service is tip-top.

After gave birth, need to transfer my son to NICU because got a bit jaundice. After 2 days, transfer him to the Klinik Bersalin Berisiko Rendah, 5min away from the Putrajaya Hospital. Stayed there for few days until the jaundice gone, and bring my baby boy back home. The Berisiko Rendah place is apartment blocks nearby. Really nice place and quiet.

If your child was born in Putrajaya hospital, EVERY check up is under them so you'd know that you'll get the best as from what I hear, most goverment and private hospital will send their patiens to Putrajaya if their place doesn't have certain equipments.

So far, the service is one of the best.
