HEY GUYS, HOW TO RECORD PS3 GAMEPLAY TO VIDEO?? I SEARCH ON YOUTUBE THEY SAID USE EASYCAP, DAZZLE...MANY THINGS....SO I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE CAN I FIND THREAD ABOUT THIS...I JUST WANT TO BUY THIS TOOLS...BUT WHERE? AND HOW THE SETUP? PLEASE HELP ME....
anyone plz join in the discussion... recommendations will be in FAQ pg.
More than 3 ways actually, RF (needs an adapter), composite, S-video, RGB, component and HDMI. I do believe composite & s-video capture cards are pretty common, or at least not rare.
i try go to ebay...and find the price for HD PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder....wowwwwww...really expensive....thats for HDMI recording....anyway...EASYCAP just can capture in standard video...it can't capture HDMI video...
I think some of you have mistaken the functions of Torne. It records DIGITAL TV SHOWS only, not gaming videos. It can record TV shows while you are playing games on your PS but it doesn't record your video gaming session.
torne in action. for sure im gonna get this gadget soon
i wonder if there is any english language selection on the application?

It's saying that you can record TV shows while you're playing games, not recording the game itself. Torne is useless outside Japan because it requires a network id card to work, like Astro.
If you're looking for a HD capture card, I suggest Blackmagic Intensity Pro. There are 2 versions which costs US$199 each. One captures 720p at most which is for PCI and the other can capture 1080p at most via USB 3.0. I have the PCI version which I got from ebay. I'm quite satisfied with it and made some test videos at 720p.
i have easycap, the recording quality is not that good. not HD. and have driver problem with windows 7 64 bit. - driver not recognize something like that

btw blackmagic intensity pro for pc user right? im using laptop here
You wan't at least 720p capture, you have to be prepared to pay around that much for a capture card. Capture cards that capture 1080i max are inferior (720p>1080i) but they're slightly cheaper.

If you have USB 3.0, you can go for the USB version of Blackmagic which captures 1080p for the exact same price as the PCI version that only captures up to 720p. You can get it from ebay if amazon refuses to ship it and since it's a computer part, it won't be taxed when it reaches malaysia.

Actually Black magic is one complicated one..You need to open ur cpu and insert the chip in the cpu..Quality almost the same with happauge though..Better get happauge and a good headset with a nice quality mic to make commentaries though..or else the hd pvr is a waste.
gameplay footage recorded using Hauppauge HD PVR • using component cable 720p/1080i • connected to pc/mac via usb for recording • livestream compatible • edited/rendered using Sony Vegas Pro 10
p/s: for 1080p HDMI real time pass through (recording w/out lag) u can check out the latest version for Hauppauge HD PVR2 ...

I'm using Avermedia Game Capture HD.. very easy to use because don't need to connect to a PC.. just need to plug in a thumbdrive and press record... it works perfectly fine with all games except FIFA 13.. unable to record ingame sound when using headset.. also sometimes video lag badly.. it worked fine for FIFA 12 though. hmm.

but for HD PVR2 it has real time pass through (w/out delay/lag) so u can play/record using pc screen only ... u dont need tv for this ...

video lag badly???do you set recording real time mode??? u can record ingame sound when you using headset....just change the audio output in ps3 from your headset to your tv...you also will hear your friends voice from tv...but you will not hear your own voice....
I'm getting the..AverMedia Live Gamer HD which is like a graphics card for the computer.. I could like record on my computer directly and upload it once I'm done.

Yea I know about real time mode and we can record other people voice. But for some reason it doesnt work with FIFA13. Other games no problem.
