I think some of you have mistaken the functions of Torne. It records DIGITAL TV SHOWS only, not gaming videos. It can record TV shows while you are playing games on your PS but it doesn't record your video gaming session.

It's saying that you can record TV shows while you're playing games, not recording the game itself. Torne is useless outside Japan because it requires a network id card to work, like Astro.

If you're looking for a HD capture card, I suggest Blackmagic Intensity Pro. There are 2 versions which costs US$199 each. One captures 720p at most which is for PCI and the other can capture 1080p at most via USB 3.0. I have the PCI version which I got from ebay. I'm quite satisfied with it and made some test videos at 720p.

You wan't at least 720p capture, you have to be prepared to pay around that much for a capture card. Capture cards that capture 1080i max are inferior (720p>1080i) but they're slightly cheaper.

If you have USB 3.0, you can go for the USB version of Blackmagic which captures 1080p for the exact same price as the PCI version that only captures up to 720p. You can get it from ebay if amazon refuses to ship it and since it's a computer part, it won't be taxed when it reaches malaysia.
