You wan't at least 720p capture, you have to be prepared to pay around that much for a capture card. Capture cards that capture 1080i max are inferior (720p>1080i) but they're slightly cheaper.

If you have USB 3.0, you can go for the USB version of Blackmagic which captures 1080p for the exact same price as the PCI version that only captures up to 720p. You can get it from ebay if amazon refuses to ship it and since it's a computer part, it won't be taxed when it reaches malaysia.

Actually Black magic is one complicated one..You need to open ur cpu and insert the chip in the cpu..Quality almost the same with happauge though..Better get happauge and a good headset with a nice quality mic to make commentaries though..or else the hd pvr is a waste.

So both with the Hauppauge and Blackmagic I can record shows from A**tro? How about Beyond?

But the PC has to be next to TV and Astro right?

Thanks

I'm using Avermedia Game Capture HD.. very easy to use because don't need to connect to a PC.. just need to plug in a thumbdrive and press record... it works perfectly fine with all games except FIFA 13.. unable to record ingame sound when using headset.. also sometimes video lag badly.. it worked fine for FIFA 12 though. hmm.
