Seems like those blue spot lights made the photos look like they have lots of noise (the blue patches, happens a lot in my old camera phones in low light), though not much...

iPhone using touch focus, no camera button, which is not good. N8 in other hand have camera button, which feels really nice when taking a pictures in crowdy situation like that
