bro, actually there's really no 'wrong' decision... MOST of the DSLR/DSLTs out there are really good... Canon 550d, 60d - Nikon D5000, D3100, Sony a33,a55,a580.... its up to you and how u utilize the camera... but with sony u get alot of cool people in this forum...

and ull get the all too famous question which is:

"How come you didnt buy Canon/Nikon?"

went to Sony Style Curve just now so REPOISON myself with a33,a55,Nex3 and nex5... then i saw aiks... got a580 also.. haha.. i was surprise coz looked like a33/55 from a far...

so i tested it out.. feels like a550 (obviously, since its a550 replacement)...
i was'nt so impressed with the ISO performance but the 'Multi-Frame NR Mode' was really good, even at 6400... but overall a pretty decent body. as for me, i wont get it tho..

Wah! Why everyone buy new body? Hahahahaha

of course if ur budget allows it then id say definitely the a55 + 1750 f2.8
