seems so  sad.gif

i have one Question. how to change the aperture settings (AF lenses) on a33/a55 to record video???  hmm.gif
im assuming all video i recorded now is @f/3.5 .
*
i think this is the answer for u....

About movie recording
- If you want to adjust the blurring of the background, set the mode dial to “A”
and set the camera to the manual focus mode. You can adjust the aperture
using the control dial before shooting.
- In bright conditions, if you use the autofocus, the image motion may not
be smooth (high speed shutter). In such a case, the manual focus mode is
recommended.

mastering89: Switch to manual focus and you can record at whatever aperture you have set.

Anly: Yes true; with AF, the aperture sets to F3.5 while recording video.

fansoption: Live View better for macro mah. biggrin.gif

eddybeh: Bummer, I was looking forward to the new Tamron 60mm F2.0 DiII Macro!

The 60mm will be tighter than the 50mm, but it will seem magically more ngam. There is a difference. I used to use 50mm on APS-C a lot, which is like 75mm on FF, but when I use 85mm on FF to shoot on the streets it seems to be correct!
*
60mm is nice.... i love the range helios-44 58mm f2... now i'm getting rokkor-pf 58mm f1.4... sh b better biggrin.gif

not forgetting my rokkor-x 50mm f1.2 oso tongue.gif

yup...you need to have at least a 24-70 paired with f58 and a telelens 70-200 to unlock the settings...after that you'll have to get 135 to use it...hope that helps... smile.gif
