LOL. It does shows increase in top hp. It does prove something.

Your "no substantiate improvement" is just your own preferences. I know you want RM50 for a 1hp increase which is quite impossible. But, you have your own mindset. Then I guess tongkat ali cannot satisfied you only double the doses of Via-gra might but for the price/performance ratio it might turn you off, again based on our/your own financial ability or self satisfaction from the product.

I do not benefit from the dyno chart if you are asking. How would I since everybody claim 1hp is so small . LOL. But i took the challenge and face reality. What can i say, I'll do more test and gets more information soon.

Rather then other seller who only say increase xx% in power and hp, but not even been to dyno also.

No offence and non taken, just sharing info.

Bro, Twin Turbo ar ? You should try install the other unit at another vacuum hose, its even more power then like this. hehe!!
Check your intake manifold, will have another hose going into the head or someplace. Tab it there. Then you have TTAB (Twin Turbo Air Booster!)
What is the tuning for both the unit u runnning ? would it be hard to start in the morning ?

both also 1.6.

that is the head u said, that hose is too big i think  hmm.gif
*
Maybe my carb engine running too lean with TTAB , morning hard to start and stall sometimes after start LOL. need a AF meter and 02 sensor to tune the bugger ...
the head hose is big, but TAB comes with the converter hose, just plug it in and convert to small hose. if possible tie a cable tie or a clip there .

Taipan052,

I also feels like what you say. I tune tune so many times and got it lower and it got better. LOL. I think at first we need to set it higher eg.1.8,then slowly tune it down til you get the perfect sweet spot. You will know when you feels the car is smooth as silk and power comes when you just tap on the pedal.

Now you running 1.0 mileage DTE got improve ? 700km? tongue.gif thumbup.gif

Ya, i think so too... coz small might be higher pressure thus the improvement, but bigger mean it might run leaner ,maybe we need more pressure then run leaner. biggrin.gif

If i take average 44L when we fill up the full tank (right after the empty tank light up), basically the calculation will be

1) 589.1KM/44L = 13.4KM/L
or
2) 1L/13.4KM * 100 = 7.46L/100KM

Then compare with ODOmeter reading.. it's much pretty accurate isn't it?
But wait i fill up full tank tomorrow okay and will re-calculate on actual Liter/Full tank used.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Disclaimer: The above review solely on Forte. In average, I could only get 530~550KM per full tank for the same driving condition before installing IceCube Combo (TAB + PBTE). Improvement on FC is not guaranteed. This review only applicable to my forte. Other cars or forte maybe could not get the same figure as above. After 4 full tanks I could say improvement of at least 50KM extra for my full tank mileage.
*
rclxms.gif Taipan, finally your report is up!! rclxms.gif Glad to know you tested with atleast 4 full tank to get appropriate results.

When i set TAB setting to 2300cc, it (the setting) should remain there no matter how many km i drive my car right? Some how my TAB setting keep turning automatically by itself to much lower setting (i.e. 2000cc) after about 40-50km driving my car. Is it normal?
*
Correct. You can bring back the unit i change a new unit for you.

TAB on manual exora yes is possible but takes longer time to install then the usual engines.

QUOTE(kinmin888 @ Nov 20 2010, 11:47 AM)
Hi icecube, where is the air booster going to connect to?
*
Into the inlet manifold vacuum.

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Nov 20 2010, 02:52 PM)
okay. this is my finding for those who a bit skeptical with this device.

at first i also kinda afraid of any outside particle going inside the engine without being filtered. just now i open up my air filter box and to my surprise there are lots of tiny dust inside them (the dust get through the filter).

when i take a look at the filter, got 4 or 5 small hole if you see closely.

so in conclusion, even air filter could not guarantee 100% filtration.

i'm using simota performance air filter (cotton) by the way.

so, if you're afraid with this TAB, you should afraid of using any performance air filter also. stick to stock air filter if you wanna peace of mind.

p/s: for this one, i want milo ice tabur ya bro Kevin. lolz.. tongue.gif
*
Thats right, those who said TAB's air can damage engine then those performance air filter will make your engine Kaboom (which didnt and will not). biggrin.gif thanks for sharing and alot of campro cps we open up the filter (coz need to remove the module to install TAB) and found out alot of dust in the air filter box. dust like sands and dirt...... if u guys seen cps filter elements, its quite thick but weird how can sand enter into the throttle side???

QUOTE(Jcmuin @ Nov 21 2010, 10:03 AM)

can put on CPS engines. Just need longer time to install. Probably more then 30mins.

One of ur pic show a 1300cc Satria tuning to 1600cc...but dun see the option on the device.
*
Depends on car setup. wira 1300cc tune 1800cc of coz more power but FC will increase. If overtune you will feels power loss and bad fc and engine vibration or hard to start in the morning. just tune down will solve the problem.

QUOTE(full @ Nov 24 2010, 11:23 PM)
Just installed TAB and went for a drive. The immediate effect is so surprising!!  thumbup.gif  rclxms.gif

1)More power or i should say more responsive.
2)Gear changing is so smooth!! Much smoother than b4. I bought PB V2.0 from IceCube and that give me more milage and smooth gear changing. But this TAB even smooth-en the gear changing. U just cant believe that Myvi 1.3 auto can have this kind of gear changing!!
3)Engine is quieter than before. Just there is an additional hisss sound come from the TAB(not noticeable in the cabin).
4)Idle RPM is slightly lower and RPM on a certain speed is lower than before I install TAB.
5)FC don't know yet, will observe in these few days. But I'm sure that there is improvement on FC.

Here is my observation on the first ride right after install this little metal.
Thanks IceCube!!!
Regards,

Hi bro,

So fast you already got the stuff? biggrin.gif Thanks for the quick review, i am sure with the new PBTE, you will be even more surprised~!!

PBTE will have better effect electronically with smoother gear change, lesser engine noise and better acceleration also (these are all feeling reported by PBTE user from myvi).

To those who DIY (as per our converstation), here is the details...

This is where to install on campro /cps engines ....like in satria neo, saga blm, waja campro , and any campro cps or non cps engines...

Stand infront of the front bumper facing the engine, top left side of the engine cover , look underneath...
