they tested with thier 16 inch rim. if change rim take ur own risk. the car will record incorrect rim size and the sensor on till it burn. they can detect from system even if when u send to claim with stock rim. so becareful when u change rim smile.gif
*
yeah..in fact, thats the only reason holding me up, to not to replace the rim to 17inchers immediately once get the car...rather wait for a while...probably saving the money is a good idea as well...hehehe...

QUOTE(tiong @ Nov 13 2010, 11:10 PM)
if u check the sales centre of PE and E

PE
Sales Outlet= 227
Sales Centre = 145

E
Sales Centre=34

Total Sales Outlet/Centre= 406
A total of 406 show room cars are required for each sales outlet/centre.
For test drive, another 406, should be around 812 cars for just sales/marketing purpose if all sales/outlet have 1 test drive car.

If P1 start production on 1 nov, there are only 5 working days before they send out some of those inspira to kuching sat/sun or east coast on monday.

5 x 80 car per day = 400 (not sure whether the production start earlier or not)

So, definitely not enough to send to customer.

If start sending on 20th with same production start date, there's 14 working days.

14 x 80 = 1120 but must send out some for test drive car and need to go through PDI/QA check.. will have different delivery date

based on the news on 25th oct, there's 1500 booking.
Means 10 days except sunday(from 14oct to 25th oct). Average of 150 bookings a day.

1120-812 = 308 cars for customer.

if only 308 cars available for customer, then most likely those who book on 14 and 15 will get the car by 20 something nov onwards.

* the above is a rough estimation on delivery date based on available data from news. Will differs if the p1 policy and production start date and operational days are different.

Let's not worry too much before getting the car. If you spend your time worrying on something may or may not happen in the future then spoil the mood when you get the car, most importantly just enjoy the experience you have with the car.
*
i second that..let not spend too much time worrying. all will be well i hope smile.gif just enjoy the car..enjoy the ride

still demm excited to get the car...really really anxious waiting for the day it arrive..

SA normally can reduce selling price further than those stated in the brochure. So just want to check if the price in brochure is the best price already
*
nah..i dont think there will be much discounts...at most, probably a bit reduction in ur insurance (due to carryover NCB), or if the SA feeling generous, he give discount by cutting off his own commission...

i think its nappa leather, it feels the same as in the lancer...reason for it not being stated in the brochure? probably the same reason the MIVEC engine with INVEC3 engine & gearbox, and magnesium paddle shifter not stated in the brochure as well...just not to put direct comparison to lancer selling point..some sort of agreement happening here...

extract from lancer user

Normal service RM300++ engine oil 5 liter accept synthetic only around RM230
major service (40K) RM1300++ CVT oil RM 300++

how true is it?
*
synthetic oils..maybe, mitsu engine have the affinity to work best with synthetic oil, ever since it 4G9x engine series...observe the GTI, Putra & Wira 1.8...cheap oil will cause the loud tappet sound..

however, not too sure about 4B11 though...eventhough all indication heading that way...mind u, other modern engines do this as well...even the ivtec engines makan oil quite significantly, need to check & topup from time to time..

major servicing, wow..that steep...but rm300 for CVT oil does sound realistic...this is the quirks of automatic gearbox, not only on inspira/lancer..but on all car...if maintained properly, it will serve u well..if not..well..u got the idea..

but according to this article(on lancer's cvt) there is a torque converter. there are CVTs with torque converter...
*
nissan's cvt has torque convertor..that what they use on the murano, slyphy, etc ...most other carmakers cvt does not have torque convertor..mitsu cvt does not have torque convertor...nor does altis, city, etc etc...

put simply, manual gearbox is the best & most efficient power wise...normal cvt or torque convertor auto gearbox are nowhere near manual gearbox performance...

DSG or twin clutch auto gearbox are effectively robotized manual gearbox, which offer best of both world, convinient, effency & performance...the is the best auto box around..

if you really open a thread to ask for opinion for improvement, i'm sure you can have some great ideas. But are you the decision maker that can make use of the ideas given?
*
and how was bashing be better? if u bash, are u the one that makes the decision for proton? this is a silly argument...

put it this way, this thread for information sharing...dont use it as a place to relay ur anger or or whatever...make things constructive..or at the very least, interesting or funny....
