lotsa big plans for the new wife wub.gif

habis gaji aku bulan januari sweat.gif

tell me about it tongue.gif

habis end-year bonus, gaji dec, jan, feb..hehehe...guys, pls share ur mods/upgrades..looking forward for 2din clarion headunit (perhaps compatible with the steering control) & 17"rims with a good tyres...

anyway, it just occured to me, perhaps proton just being conversative with the power figures...japanese carmakers does quotes their power figures base on optimum condition with better quality petrol (RON99-100, that is widely available in Japan), proton maybe quote it using our normal petrol (RON95-97)..having said that, the 4B11 engine is tuned to adapt to any kind of petrol from RON90 onwards, thus the variable power figures...

let me ask u something.
if proton say 20% parts are local..what exactly parts are these?

i wonder if service will be 1 to 1 part or somehow rather later become made in msia part
*
u dont need to replace your car dashboard or doorpanel or the windscreens during these regulars services, dont you?

Added on November 13, 2010, 2:20 amanyway guys, i believe some of u are doing plat number interchange, special number, etc etc...wonder how much ur SA/runner charge u with, or do u do it urself?

i wanted to do an interchange (swap number with current car), but they wanna charge me rm600 for it..which frankly is a ridiculous amount of money. as far as i know, JPJ+Puspakom fees & charges in total should be more then rm300...i know these runner need to "cari makan" as well..but rm300+ profits? that is just trying to take us for a ride...i rather go to JPJ & do it myself...

just something to share here...it just rile me up when ppl get arrogant & try to be opportunistict

im sory bout this noob Q , first of all.. what is NVH?? and second, what is central lock??i cant find answer.. mind to explain..
*
noise, vibration & harshness....in layman term, the perceived comfort level of of being inside the car...

the lower the NVH level, the better..lower noise..lower vibration..lower harshness..

If do it yourself, around RM350..

well, usually runners take about 100-150 to cover petrol+profit i think, they charge u 600 maybe coz SA also want's a piece of profit  whistling.gif

I'm also planning to buy a number myself if the SA's runner wanna charge me skyhigh..

sweat.gif
*
my thought exactly..they getting greedy....

yeah..gonna do it myself. like u said, if rm100-150 profit, is still ok..more then that, screw them lar..

just went to mitsu & proton showrooms back-to-back...overall, both cars seems to be the same (no offence lancer owner, just my personal view, i still think lancer gt is a damm good looking car) wink.gif

engine cover is plasticky & coarse with sharp edges..however, same goes to the lancer as well, the really is identical, aside from the logo of course...

interior, a bit plasticky too, but quality, material, texture & feel not that far off other c-segment cars, and i think still on par if not better then b-segment cars (let be honest here, were not talking about beemer or merc or even audi a4 or vw passat class car here)..dashboard, doorpanel, seems the same as lancer..luckily the dark brown/black inserts does look kinda good..before, was afraid that it will look too much of fake wood...door feels solid & substantial...

steering feels good, the leather feels good & soft..the buttons on the steering have a tactile feel...aircond/climate control knobs feels substantial..like too the damped glovebox..but,the latching mechanism is a bit flimsy..the paddle shifter is magnesium (i think tongue.gif)..it aint plastic as someone suggested earlier on...the centre console which hold the standard size 2din audio headunit does have slight gap on the fitment..again, this still look the same as in the lancer (the 2.4 sportback to be precise, which has kenwood 2din headunit)...tweeters, tried my hardest, cant see it inside the socket/compartment...

seats are ok, again same shape and design as in the lancer, only the stitching and the pattern are different..heck, even the adjustment levers of the same shape..overall, it feel comfortable & decently supportive, however, it aint a sportseat/bucket type...someone mentioned that its too soft, which in my opinion, is not...depend on your size & weight perhaps...

the rims..it aint that bad in real life..but having said that, the design is still a bit silly..something to be changed...the factory fit security film/tint, that too, seems to be decent..bootspace is small for a car its size, due to the fullsize sparetyre...

front & rear windscreen a MMC labelled, the windows are from proton...try to find the front, rear & foglight label, its may be of japan origin, i not too sure..(well, the light on the lancer are not labelled as well)..read from somewhere the foglights are from ralliart..try to see the bulbs..can't see the brands (before this, proton do use oem osram silverstar on its other cars, inspira, im not too sure)..its of H4/HB4 type i think..

all in all..i still think its the best car for the price...

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Nov 13 2010, 11:58 AM)
regarding the CVT, they added the cooler and diverted more air to it..but i dont think it is an issue(for me at least), unless for those who want to go up to 200kmh..which i'll never do.

ABS on the other hand, i have no idea about it..any info on that?
*
cant see the cvt cooler & airguide...obsecure by other stuff on the engine compartment..probably viewable once hoisted up during servicing...

overheating cvt gearbox happen to all cars IF its driven like an idiot..prolonged high speed or high rpm run...normal usage, shouldnt be a problem...

abs sensors/warning lights...same thing on other cars as well...most of the time bcoz of the dirt stuck on the sensors..and sometimes just caused by burned fuse (after hard use of the brake)..again, unless its been thrashed around or been driven like an idiot, this wont be a major issue..

guys, on the central lock issue or whatever lock it is..lay it to rest will ya? we're all friends here...

just another thing im unsure of..Mitsu 4B11 are specced with default iridium sparkplugs...wonder if inspira have the same thing...if not, its another thing that could explain the slightly lower power output...

about the ABS sensors..those lancer owners had to change them..not trying to compare, i hv a 2007 idsi honda city, but no such abs sensor problem. rclxub.gif
*
put it this way, sensors should be covered under warranty isnt it..hehe...

proton seems to have done a fair share of local testing, maybe its already been adressed, maybe something more suitable with our road & weather been use in the inspira..anyway...only time will tell...(issues such as this does happened to CBU\recon car imported from Japan)..

they tested with thier 16 inch rim. if change rim take ur own risk. the car will record incorrect rim size and the sensor on till it burn. they can detect from system even if when u send to claim with stock rim. so becareful when u change rim smile.gif
*
yeah..in fact, thats the only reason holding me up, to not to replace the rim to 17inchers immediately once get the car...rather wait for a while...probably saving the money is a good idea as well...hehehe...
