how come most show rooms in jb cant test drive any?

When can I get my plum red.. Just booked last wednesday

Booked last wed? Feb 2011 for 2.0 litre. maybe coz 2day i go COE, the SA said if want 2.0 litre, only can get in feb.

I asked how many ppl have receive their car, he said 16 only. All the car produce earlier all go showroom.

nope end dec coz the car is ready but need to wait for PDI check i think....something like QA check. dunno by who. maybe jan 2011 car oso

i was told by my SA, that my car is ready but waiting for PDI check oso.

whats a PDI check

i think it's called Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

not sure correct or not...maybe my SA cakap kosong only.

ya..for those who book on 14oct....was told will get it around end nov earliest...coz p1 will start sending out more test drive car on 20th onwards and then cars for customer.

they should have a check your waiting list online thingy

it's a good customer service thingy and more transparency but if they have that kind of online checking, then the customer will follow-up more closely..now they just keep you waiting until u dun care and just wait.

even if its online checking system, it could still be manipulated. Just hope there ain't any insider job to let some people jump queue else I dont mind the wait if need PDI or what not before delivery.

changing government wont do much either. work attitude is IMPORTANT.

Total Sales Outlet/Centre= 406
A total of 406 show room cars are required for each sales outlet/centre.
For test drive, another 406, should be around 812 cars for just sales/marketing purpose if all sales/outlet have 1 test drive car.

If P1 start production on 1 nov, there are only 5 working days before they send out some of those inspira to kuching sat/sun or east coast on monday.

5 x 80 car per day = 400 (not sure whether the production start earlier or not)

So, definitely not enough to send to customer.

If start sending on 20th with same production start date, there's 14 working days.

14 x 80 = 1120 but must send out some for test drive car and need to go through PDI/QA check.. will have different delivery date

based on the news on 25th oct, there's 1500 booking.
Means 10 days except sunday(from 14oct to 25th oct). Average of 150 bookings a day.

1120-812 = 308 cars for customer.

if only 308 cars available for customer, then most likely those who book on 14 and 15 will get the car by 20 something nov onwards.

* the above is a rough estimation on delivery date based on available data from news. Will differs if the p1 policy and production start date and operational days are different.

if those book during so called early get is November that means ngam ngam 45 days lah
