Guys. I want to ask anyone out there who apply for Maybank Petronas Visa Gold Card and collect at branch?Besides the CC, what will be enclosed together?booklet?or got any other document enclosed 2gether?Because this the first time i collect at branch.thx
*
That time when I collect it, it only came with a card.

However for Ikhwan AMEX, it came with some brochures to explain about Islamic Banking and Islamic features of the CC.

That day i also got apply for maybank Touch and Go Zing card when i apply for my maybank Petronas visa gold, but today when i go collect,it says that i didnt apply the Zing Card. Then I have to wait for 2 weeks to get my Zing Card. Do you apply Zing card on the same time u apply Maybank Petronas Visa?
*
I didn't apply the Zing card. I feel that the fee is relatively expensive. RM 2 per reload.

Visa is my backup CC in case AMEX cannot go through or not acceptable.

I have plenty of auto debit to my Visa.

Apart from the 5x TP at Petroans, it's not really a very attractive CC in the market as compared to other siblings in Maybank offerings or other banks.

Other than that, is just like normal maybank CC. But one thing is that its annual fee is free for life. Very weird that other Maybank CC still collect annual fees?issit possible that normal Maybank CC annual fee is waivable?
*
It can be waived but it's very discretionary.

You can pay anyone's TM bill at TMPoint and you still get the 5% cash back from OCBC Titanium.

Actually you can pay all other utility bills (which TMPoint accepts) and get 5% cashback
*
TM point accepts credit card payment for other utility bills?

I know you can pay those bills at TM point. The point is either cash or CC. By the way, MilesAndMore has replied.

Hi all, i got 2 questions regarding balance transfer.

1) I subscribed an iphone4 plan at digi with third party credit card and i wish to transfer the balance to my own card now, but the problem is the third party credit card and mine are from different bank. Will this be a problem when i try to do the balance transfer at third party credit card bank?

2) Where do i do the balance transfer, is it at my credit card bank or the third party credit card bank?

Thanks for all the reply. Must appreciated...

For BT, you should asked at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1123346/+200#entry37910092

The idea of BT is to transfer outstanding amount from one CC to another CC from another bank subjected to min transfer amount and fee/interest (based on tenure/promo). The BT application should be applied at the CC bank where you intended to transfer the outstanding TO.

Few options:

1. Use Interbank Fund Transfer in RHB Internet Banking
2. Use CIMB CDM machine
3. Pay over the CIMB counter

If u happen to use cimb cdm, remember it is not a deposit trxn but a bill payment trxn. I've seen and advised many regarding the trick.

If u choose deposit, u'll never can key in the 16-digit number. Only 'bill payment --> credit card' works.
*
Wait! For CIMB CDM, I remember if want to pay CC, one selects Banking/Credit Card Account which is the 1st selection of the main menu.

Correct if I'm wrong since I have shifted to use CIMBClicks to pay my DA bill.

I paid my CIMB CC using CDM all the time. no need to enter anything, just insert my CC into the machine, it will auto detect the card number and everything, just insert the amount of money that you want to pay into the CDM..that's it, very easy.. smile.gif
*
True if you bring along CC but I didn't bring that. Only 16-digit CC number with me.

From my experience, it'll be within 2 to 3 weeks.
