as i said earlier.. for cvt, you can only compare how low the rpm can go at what speed.. if there is load, the rpm will raise higher even though speed didn't.

Both 2.0 and 2.5 Teana are good and comfortable car to drive. How much of the RPM doesn't bother the owner too much. The difference are only the power and some gadgets. Both serve you seat comfortable from A to B purpose.

QUOTE(ar188 @ Mar 30 2012, 09:46 PM) as i said earlier.. for cvt, you can only compare how low the rpm can go at what speed.. ya...u can only know at cruising speeds, the cvt will be at the lowest ratio. if there is load, the rpm will raise higher even though speed didn't. the 2.0, 2.5 have different rpm at different speeds not because of the load, but because of the difference in final gear. the 2.0 will have a higher rpm at 110 compared to the 2.5. the final drive is higher, which is crucial for the weaker 2.0 engine as it gives a more responsive drive compared to a lower final gear ratio. Hey,Mine is 2.5 and tested on MEX straight road (after Bukit Jalil exit). have seen it reached at 200 KMph and could still go higher. Because of the speed, i was too scared to have it pass 200 KMph mark and slow down.. don know about anyone else, scary to drive at that speed. |

Only done that 190km/h once with my family at NSE towards north after Yong Peng early morning at 7am, so probably no speed trap . It is a straight road. I release the pedal once it hit 190km/h when there were some noise at the rear. Not to sure what it was, maybe some small object on the road. It was scary too. I was worried about the tyres. After that, the max is about 160 to 170 km/h. At these speeds I am very confident about the car.Added on April 2, 2012, 5:36 pm Saw one advertisement in auto garage sale for teana body kit.... |

Teana 160km/h still stable because of its weight and combination of European-Japanese design platform also.

From the picture, I dont really like the rear skirting, the artificial exhaust tail pipes looked a bit "misplaced" to me, so anyone has recommendation for the bodykits? |
