Hi all,
Off topic. I realized I have the same issue as a previous poster, but his question hasn't been answered.
I'm driving a teana 200xl... I feel that the car's power is generally ok, especially since I used to drive just a 1.6, so I'm happy. However, I feel that the power of the car is very weak when driving off from a stationary position. I need to depress the accelerator quite a bit before power kicks in, but once it starts moving, I find the car does a good job providing the power when needed. For the taking off, I find it even less power than my old car, which is amazing since my old car is kinda weak (imprezza 1.6A, 2004).
Anyone with comments? Is it due to the cvt settings? Or is my car the problem?
Thanks!
it's the CVT settings not letting you launch the car with rubber band effect, high rpm at low speed.. if you want to take off fast, maybe have to use L gear or sport mode.. Off topic. I realized I have the same issue as a previous poster, but his question hasn't been answered.

but once moving even in normal D if you driving at 50kmh and press the pedal hard, the full effect of the cvt can be felt.. and very quickly you will reach 100kmh..
