This Teana was launched late last year, I first saw it was in China in March 2010. And I found this Teana is better looking than Honda Accord in every angle, I found the Accord look like "sweet potato". And at the moment, this Teana is selling more unit than Camry and Accord in China. So I think this car sure should have something special that can attract so many buyers. In Malaysia, can it beat the so call T & H, no one knows, but Nissan is selling more cars than Honda globally at the moment.

In Malaysia, a lot of buyers do not buy a car based on price/specs/features and stick to the hard facts. Sometimes, it simply boils down to the brand. I find that some buyers buy the Camry over the Accord not because of the specs, but because it's a Toyota.

So the new Teana is a litmus test of sorts for the Nissan brand in the D segment.

i dont think teana is going to beat the accord n camry in terms of outlooks. and yea nissan marketing is always a step behind of T and H

I agree with you if you are talking about Malaysia situation. For marketing, I think Honda had most advertisements if compare to Toyota and Nissan. And Honda also spent a lotof money in advertisements, but the return isn't too optismistic for me. If you want to talk about marketing, I think Toyota is the champion.

Camry is lousy. it even lose to the new Sonata. Also lose to Accord. (performance)

What about price? Current Teana price 2.3 is 230k

HONDA ACCORD

Somehow to me Camry would be better than Accord. The new Nissan Teana however is something to be seen & felt.

its around:

2.0 = RM 145k +-
2.5 = RM 175k +-

but recently some Sales agent say the price MAYBE

2.0 = < RM 140k
2.5 = < RM 170k

so, just wait 3 more days to confirm everything

camry abit too common on the road, everywhere u turn u'll bound to see one. plus handling not as agile as the accord.

for teana. the black one will definite makes u look like a mafia boss.

i think they will be a high spec-ed 2.0, jz like camry, accord, sonata.

no, only 2.0 and 2.5, no high spec 2.0

so maybe i will buy 2.0 then optional upgrade to leather seat... but may cost a bomb too

and 2.0 keyless is damn lame... need to press remote control to open door, need to plug in the key to start the car... (altho is push start, u nid plug in the key baru can press to start)
