QUOTE(vans @ Dec 2 2010, 06:39 PM)
u think still got stock anot on monday? any1 who is goin on saturday can help ask them will they reserve certain stock on daily basis ? means that mayb saturday and sunday 500 unit each, monday 300 unit... pls assist, thanks.
*
From my previous experience from going earlier Maxis iPhone 4 roadshows, they will have certain amount of stock allocated for each day, means they will not sell off all their stock in the first day (which I doubt too, do they capable of selling off so many units per day? Previously their "efficient" staff only manage to process 150 registration per day, from 830am to 10pm)

QUOTE(shamanjack @ Dec 2 2010, 08:41 PM)
does the roadshow allows outright purchase for IP4?
*
Same as above, from previous experience, they DO NOT allow outright purchase

Anyway, just my wild guess based on previous experience, let's hope they changed their policy~ icon_idea.gif

QUOTE(chicaman @ Dec 5 2010, 07:49 PM)
hey, buying iphone 4 no need to register the line rite?
*
for most cases, yes, you need to register together with a contracted line for at least 1 year
or if you're lucky, you can get it outright

QUOTE(louyit @ Dec 5 2010, 10:55 PM)
hi guys just wanna ask a question here...for iValue 1, it says 1GB data/month...may I know the 1GB is for received only or sent+received? as for the 333mins/month....it's for all local calls?regardless of digi,maxis,celcom,landline....
*
1GB for send+receive. 333 minutes for all local networks. SMS/MMS for maxis to maxis ONLY. Check the maxis website pls... everything stated there

e@curve? is it only for outright purchase or available for iValue package as well? FYI, i'm already having an iValue 1 contract, just wondering whether can i sign up for another contract as i'm told that each person can get 2 iphones
*
Every MC that sells iPhone confirm can allow you sign contract, just subject to stock availability. (high priority)
Only outright purchases are subject to which MC you visit, which staff you approaching, stock availability etc. (lowest priority)

For your second question, please refer to post #2399 notworthy.gif

Yes, I've got 4 x iP4 purchased outright too. 2 x 32GB and 2 x 16GB at KLCC. As long as you are an existing maxis customer, you are entitled to purchase it outright. Cheers!
*
Even you're not existing maxis customer also can outright~ just buy new hotlink number~ rclxms.gif

Recently I notice my phone eat up lot battery comparing to 1 time I get. Will that because I just change the wallpaper (unlock screen).
The photo took from my album with some edit. Wanna to find out the sourse of it. Need some advise Thax
*
A lot of things could cause battery drain.
- Cellular Data/3G
- WiFi
- Background apps
- Push notifications
- Push email
- Weather auto update
etc. Depends on your usage. The wallpaper should cause no problem to the battery drain.

QUOTE(enriquelee @ Dec 30 2010, 09:53 AM)

This is maxis selling price, right?
Any idea those shops bring in themselves 1?
*
For those shops, the pricing of course is depends on how much they want to sell.
No one can give you answer here.
Different shops sell different price. It's not up to me to say.

bro ..

how to be outright purchaser? should I be hotlink customer? Or I can just walk in to maxis center? .. TQ ..
*
Yes, just walk in Maxis Center and tell them you want buy iPhone outright.
But no guarantee they will sell you. Some staffs/Maxis Center don't allow outright purchase.
That's where Maxis failed in making things clear and consistent.

Yup! But the price going to be expensive around RM300-400 from the price with postpaid plan.

My friend told me they even refused to sign prepaid plan for iPhone4 & ONLY receive plan with postpaid  mad.gif
You have to be extremely lucky to get the iPhone4 without the contract
Last time i asked one of the DiGi shop in Alamanda, they willing to sell it at RM2900 without the contract  sweat.gif
*
To be more precise, the price for purchase without contract will be the RRP.
They (Maxis & DiGi) should not sell more than the RRP. It they sell more than RRP (like the DiGi case you saying), probably is the staff want to earn "pocket money".

Yes. You can. But like madstone had mentioned, you'll have to be extremely lucky to get the iPhone4 without the contract.

QUOTE(miour @ Jan 4 2011, 02:54 PM)
