hi guys i'm new here, want to know more about iphone4 by maxis.
i'm currently a hotlink youthclub user. can i purchase the iphone4 without the contract?
and is there a 500MB free data? thanks.

last friday my friend n i went to maxis klcc because my friend wanted to buy BB torch.
since im there, i asked one of the staffs about iphone.
he said maxis (im not sure whther maxis klcc oni or all maxis outlets) will bring iphone every morning with limited stock.
so i go to the counter n i asked whther iphone 4 32GB is availble or not.
that was 7pm think.
and he said there is 1.
so i said i wanted to buy the phone without the contract.
the he said they cant sell it without the contract at the moment.
if i want, i have to take the contract.
so i didnt.
im loyal to blue.
hehehe..
anyway,
does maxis klcc oni has this policy or all maxis outlets?
anyone knows?

yeah, you need a prepaid number and can buy the phone at retail price
free data 500 mb for 12 months!

They got plenty of ready stock.

Hmm, about the availability of the iPhone 4 without contract being sold "secretly", I am confused. Do they sell to you only if you have some sort of special code or very good convincing speaking skills?
I went to the maxis centre in Cheras the other day and they said:"Sorry, it is either with contract or you cannot get the phone."Of course, this is not exactly what they said. Perhaps it is about the location?
I am a hotlink prepaid user, and what would be the price for the 32GB version? Or they only offer us the 16GB only?

i called MC just now and they said walk in cust are allowed to buy the phone w/o contract. Just wondering why ppl sell ip4 maxis more than 2.4k if we easily can buy from maxis (even need to queue up early in the moning).

DG only sells ip4 with contract. otherwise u are existing iDG plans..

WOw..u are very patient...I had a not so good experience with Maxis, Being a digi user, i wanted to try maxis for a year using the iphone plan. I called Maxis Service center to ask which shop have availability of Iphones, they are offering a service for current maxis subscriber by asking for their details and inform them where to get the iphone. However the service stops at me..where i don't even own a maxis number.

I went everywhere..Frm TTDI, to Curve, 1utama, most customer rep there in maxis seems to have a cocky attitude, telling me to constantly check with them by walking into any of the maxis stores...So blardy stupid ..who got the time to travel so far to every maxis center just to be told there is no stock....IM a potential Maxis customer and they treated me like dirt...like one of those Toyota dealers...

After some frustrations...i called digi and they informed me that they do some stock check with their digi centres..and they told me to head off to digi SS2..as there are reportedly a lot of stock.

I went there..take a number waited at 8.45am in front of digi ss2. Got into the 1st line ..signed up and got an iphone 4 16gb..it is that easy ..best thing 2 years of contracts ...pay rm 63 ..instead of rm 100 for a similar package.. in maxis.

Sorry admin not trying to start a war ..just telling an experience from a potential maxis customer. The experience is so different from walking into a maxis store today
