When did that message show up? All the maxis centers I've been to unanimously said that prepaid users can only get their iphones outright in January.

the time i went was well after launch.
and i saw them replenish their stock as well.they told me they will replenish their stocks 2 to 3 times a week. but not much units.

update.. just picked up my 16 GB from the MEP in Taipan. Booked on monday, phone arrived on thu, picked up today (had to wait for my number to be ported from Digi). Everything is good. Asked if they have any left, none as all is booked already. Boss say he can get more next shipment so those who want can try here. They really deliver as promised.

Last year when I bought 3GS I had to wait two weeks before they turn on the free data.

When few of us bought ip4 all our data was turn on immediately. If you can't even make calls means something is very wrong. It sounds like you haven't activated your iPhone that's why you can't even see the menus

I don't think, probably 400 units for that whole show n maybe half of it r 32gb units that most people may not be keen. I remember during the 3GS launch, there were no stocks left during the last 2-3 days, u had to wait after u put an RM200 booking.

Even now units r trickling in.

hopefully got limit to the no. of units per day. can only make it for the roadshow on wednesday.

So maybe we cannot get the stock next week and hv to wait at least 4 to 5 days after the roadshow oni will get the stock?

now is already no tax for smart phones. only normal phones got tax. and this budget it says make all phones no tax. so iphone makes no difference
