Just been there. No stock. Expect next one or two weeks. Everytime KL sent the goods are 16GB only and limited to 20 units. Worse scenario is not sent daily! I'm getting bored of the waiting list. Just like last year 3GS release.

Somehow the sales girl given me a priority waiting list without deposit.

Actually I don't buy their words of so called priority list cause end of the day if they don't accept deposit, anyone can be in the list. Priority list perhaps it helps to reduce your frustation. Another good way to drift away the complains.

For those customer who had receive phone call from maxis to collect iphone4, usually what time they call and inform about the good news?

I did call maxis CS lunch time, was told that is confirm 14 & 15 nationwide limited stock with first come first serve basis. Even confirm via email that ipoh and Penang will have 100 units delivered today (arrival). I head on to maxis centre Ipoh around 3pm and serve by the staff. It came out they have no such thing about stock arrival today. They even don't know about 14&15 nationwide stock. Ipoh MC mention stocks always arrive morning session. Perhaps I have to visit them daily in the morning.

I've called Maxis CS to clarify the matter. Was told that maxis only server first come first basis. No waiting list or pre booking. It basically done by the maxis centre which sets their own policy of distributing iPhone 4.

What about official confirmation of stock availability on 14&15? It's mention on thir twitter and even maxis centre..

Good. Going to be there tomorrow morning at Ipoh greentown maxis centre.

Ipoh greentown have limited stock for iPhone 4 16GB only. First come first serve. Just got back from there empty handed.

Who told you no stock? Weird. They say only have 16GB if I really want, can purchase but I aim 32GB.

Just collected my iPhone4 at Ipoh Greentown Maxis Centre. Water two hours due to busted speakerphone on the first unit, lucky enough they have reserved units for 1 to 1 replacement on the spot. So guys, pls check carefully the unit before leaving the maxis centre if not. Doomed! Waited for a week. Finally.

For those buyers, I recommend you all to test the unit thoroughly before leaving maxis centre. Do test making phone calls via speakerphone.

Yeah. Busted speaker! Lucky enough 1 to 1 replacement. Really make my morning sober. Took 2 hours.

Ipoh Greentown Maxis Centre. Prebook last week Thursday, visit twice and receive call to collect cause the other person cancel it. Lol

wanna play it safe? then test it too. don't take things for granted.

Morning has been always the best time since Maxis have started just to serve first come first serve basis. No longer pre-book as mention by maxis centre manager.

basically, they have more than 20 units. Those are meant to be kept in case any buyer bought an defective iPhone. But i presumed owner only have once chance replacement if first unit found defect.

Maxis charge us extra for data usage when above quota limit in which accumulated the total of send and receive altogether. With iPhone 4 able to push 7.2mbps from maxis. Surfing faster had cost us ignore the limit.
