well, if in personal choice, i'd go for x6...
1. a bar is more reliable in terms of durability rite? i hate those sliders/flipping, ribbon issues...this & that..
2. i more to entertaining~[x6 is music phone ma xD, in facts, the loudspeaker, in terms of loudness, x6 is better in terms of that]
3. i dun nid additional hardware qwerty~
4. because its a capacitive touchscreen!
the only thing i dislike x6 is the lacks of memory card slot as connection solution

if u heavy taking photos or wanna put lots of songs/movie into ur phone~ around ur budget u could afford the 8GB version only which is not enough rite?
C6 can support up to 16GB microSD
even 16gb is not enough, u buy TONS of it, hot swapping~

however C6 over X6 is that like some ppl call that C6 is replacement to N97 or an upgrade to X6
its pretty true when u talk about the web browser, c6 is better alot, unlike x6 in flash support is pretty dodgy, sometimes failed to load~

if in terms of camera, both is good enough in recording[dun compare to HD la xD]/taking pictures
autofocus...led flashes~

N8 uses the Class 33 GPRS. The best of the best in the mobile world GPRS.

So far, no other smartphone can beat Nokia's GPS performance for now.

bro, she just use it as normal usage...probably camera and easy to use will be the choice for her...but of course if there's any additional feature she will use it too....

Both r different thing.

Nokia N8 use NavLink 5.0 GPS Chpset and a real chipset unlike the one in N97.

I need a phone pless advise

budget 1.2K below
functions required:
can write note quickly & text recognition
camera at least 5mega, video recording
got GPS,GPS-a and can install garmin
got 3G,4G,bluetooth,
can support outlook,microsoft office applications and read .pdf
long bat life.
still can accept even the phone looks ugly as long as fit the needs

GPRS is a kind of connectivity solution like 3G, EDGE etc.
GPRS is not GPS

GPS - Global Positioning System ( for GPS connectivity or navigation solution )


You can use GPS with GPRS for improve lock time to satelitte beside that they can work without each other

well there r other x6 version like 16gb around 1k
32gb is not recommending, alot complain that it lagger/slower than other 16gb/8gb version

but u oso can change ur card manually ma~
