I tot of that as well...but my concern is can it support such a huge space or we need to addon pillars? rclxub.gif other thing will be about the costing and the finishing of the full mezzanine, since it's by 2 different supplier...hmm

Hmm maybe no need for the pillars
I've seen some pics for Axis Ampang duplex doing this too
but kinda worried that the 8ft mezzanine to ceiling height is before plaster ceiling, meaning deducting plaster ceiling the upper level will feel like european style attic dy haha

Dun worry. SS ceiling is not as high as MCity Duplex but it is much more better than Empire Subang.

sorry to say...we are just what we are!!!
firstly when buy..we accept the concept. Very nice modern.

aftert that ....back to basic...reno kaw kaw for optimum space!!
to me this is very typical of us , i would like it to be a soho when i first buy.

if like this better buy a bigger condo at that time why wanna headache reno, at least bigger condo gives you 2 toilet.

later got guest come and wanna see your house ...being the very few soho in town...sure upset because will feel you live in a store ah?

my 2 cents.

For investors, what is the expected rental for fully furnished units?

Unfurnished difficult to rent out rite?

Hehehe no lah share share
because i see alot of people do this with their homes
after reno i talk to them all regret!!!

my neighbours also...all house already so big when buy
still smack and redo all over again...even the indon contractor
who does the job also say " sakai punya org" rumah cantik lagi
mau roboh !! hehehehe.

Actual fact quite literally very waste of resources and energy
all the material is new yet just bulldoze off. No way we are going green
with this mentality !!! really sorry say.

pls plan your layout when you buy house.
not buying then reno to your layout!!

Rental if no reno...i think susah
with reno if you can let 1800, i congrat you!!
1500 i think can do but with reno 1500 very dangerous game.
satu mlm tenant bungkus your reno..very sakit oh!!
pls really screen your tenant for such prop.
Empire would always be benchmark dee.
good luck!!

my story...2 cents again.
peasant!!

Glass handrail / Wallpapering - 2000

For electrical stuff, I found the row of shops left of Tesco quite reasonably priced one

About the washing machine, do you consider dryer as well? If not where to hang the clothes? If u buy the washer and dryer combination price about 3k. Buy separately also add up to 3k. Separate safer bet as one damaged the other still can use but occupy space.

My initial budget is 15k also but after seems hard.

Any comment or ideas?

That's comprehensive bro! tqvm for sharing

Nothing I wanted to delete from that list, save for Electrolux brand perhaps Haier brand could be more reasonable .. hehe

Shave off 1k there and we can do a custom made curtains for the bedroom, allow for some nice thick curtains and perhaps enough budget for an extra satin layer or something.

Would like to put wallpaper as well, cost escalate again doh.gif
