i've seen the 3DTV displays at Sony Style the curve,but that's not what i meant.

i meant the blu ray discs that incorporate both versions of the movie.(on the same disc)
does the 2D version suffer(because of this) in any way?

just as an example:
AFAIK, the PS3 will not play HD audio when 3D mode is enabled.
since they're on the same disc, does the same apply to the 2d mode?
or is this just exclusive to the 3D mode?(eventhough they're on the same disc)

besides that, it should not be a problem being played on a regular 2DTV,right?

I arrived home from work today and noticed a small carton box in the driveway - soaking wet after being left exposed to the rain the whole day. On closer inspection, I was shocked to see that it was my first order of BF! Apparently, the box was too large for the mailbox slot, so the postman just threw it over the gate. I guess that's how they normally do it if the order is on standard international shipping. Not sure if signature is required for expedited shipping.

This is how the box looked like after I quickily dry it. It was certainly much wetter than it looked in the photo:

Thanks to Amazon, the blu-ray discs inside are not wet at all! 

Actually I am surprised that the shipment arrived so soon. I ordered on the 19th Nov and it was estimated to arrive only on 1st Jan 2011. Furthermore, it arrived on standard international shipping as was intended. The customs stamp was dated 26th Nov. That's fast!

Now I can't wait for my next orders to arrive - they are on expedited shipping even though I paid for standard shipping.

The BD I have had 2 versions in it... I believe that no quality was compromised, especially so since its an animated movie and these movies tend to be shorter.
Not too sure about movies that have longer running time though...

I'm not certain about HD audio since I never really notice the icons on my AVR...  I guess I need to go read the manual properly first.. hehe Anyway, I'll try to test once I receive my "My Bloody Valentine 3D" title from amazon..

@ mgsrulz - if i remember correctly, ps3 will not play both lossless audio and 3D content simultaneously due to the inherent hardware limitation (hdmi bandwidth) of the PS3 console, so it has nothing to do with the disc/movie itself. the 2D content will play just fine with no compromise in PQ/AQ.
