The packaging resemble the UK version, ie more purplish
Not like US version which is blue hmm.gif

hmmm.... not bad for a local release, steelbook summore, no silly nipples and price-wise err... i guess still ok for a steelbook though.. and who knows; maybe it's a limited-edition release (like 2012?) hmm.gif

i just wonder what that sticker meant: "Not valid for Blu-ray Disc Voucher Redemption". Could it be this is a similar version sold in UK except with a different nippleless cover... and u can't use the voucher because it is not valid here?

ooops sorry, i got it wrong... i think it's for Ezy Video voucher-owned customer, huh? blush.gif

It means the purchase isn't counted towards BD voucher redemption.

One must learn how to appreciate each film even though it is "so and so" film. Also looking into the aspect of film making which doesn't seem easy as we all thought.
Im sure there are lot more people out there will & has appreciated this "so and so " film. Whether you are prepared to pay a premium price or reasonable price for it, that's 2nd opinion.

For now the movie is the talk of the town. I hope this answers your question why there's a hype on "so and so" movie like Avatar.

Guys im just curious, is there any difference in quality between normal bd's with the bd's under 'blue ray essentials'? Or maybe its just some promotion?

Re-released versions of previously released titles under the Essentials line with no extra features, etc.

The FINAS sticker is placed right at the back portion but sticked on a card (just to cover the back). So yeah, no worries.
The back portion of the steel-book is clean without any stickers. On the front portion, you'll have the KDN sticker like shown above.

I can see the price & KDN hologram stickers pasted on the steelbox... which can easily remove using a lighter. At least they can be removed.... unlike UK's nipples. nod.gif

It can be removed with absorbing fluid , yes a lighter is an alternative, but must be done with carefully to avoid burn mark on case.
The price tag, just a rip, it can removed.

Yup that's right... even with a fluid you have to be careful (type of fluid used also is important) because if not done right or with care, it will stain the ink print and/or the steelbook surface... nod.gif ...unless the surface is laminated like glossed (as commonly seen on most chocolate box?)

There r many ways actually; the one that I'm quite comfortable with is: u rip it out with your finger, then use cellophane tape (or masking tape etc.) to remove its glue residue slowly, step by step... but have to do it wif patience tongue.gif

At least this surface is much more acceptable than those vulnerable / sensitive plastic keep case... sweat.gif
