the only thing citizen is related to seiko is that it is made in japan. Otherwise seiko and citizen are competitors to each other. nice watch anyway smile.gif

Yes thats what I meant. tongue.gif The thing about the Japanese is that they see each other as "doshi" and don't see each other as competitors. They only see the Swiss as competitors. At least thats what Seiko says during an event in Singapore.

Well a Seiko again for today. This one might be leaving soon as this is the first time in 4 months that it has left the watch box.

At the price I'm asking for I will most probably flip it at overseas forum. They seem to appreciate pre-owned watches more than locals. Do you know many times someone have asked me if I was willing to accept RM400 for a RM1K watch. blink.gif

These 2 are my Seikos...which were bought back in 1998/1999...

Both are worn on rotations, and sadly, are treated as beater watches... doh.gif

Both also have serious scratches/deepcuts on the glasses.

Was wondering if there's a place to change the glasses. Any ideas on place and cost?

Btw, both were sent to a watchshop Jaya One last year, or 2 years back for servicing and changed the capacitor on the kinetic one...

cheers.

hi all,

I need some help. I dont know whether I saw it wrongly but I happen to saw this watch in Leisure Mall

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Seiko Men’s Premier Kinetic Direct Drive Moon Phase Watch SRX003P1 SRX003P

however the "moon phase dial" was black and white (instead of the normal blue background with yellow moon)

something like the limited edition ananta watch.

Did seiko release such a watch? I didn't really enter the shop to ask but just walked pass and saw it and I'm really confused now rclxub.gif

Oh ya, the price for that watch if I'm not wrong was around RM3k+
