Yours is a new one and you shouldn't worry too much about it. laugh.gif

1. Citizen will only repair watches that is brought in though their official channels. These watches will have some markings inside to differentiate from the grey market.

2. Once the movement is phased out, they will not replace it with a newer compatible movement. In short, if you have an old quartz movement, Citizen won't replace it for you even though the watch is perfectly repairable.

I will never support this type of company.

Honest question here: Are quartz movements even repairable? Replacing does not equal to repairing IMO.

Which company keeps quartz movements that are past their lifecycle?

Replace and repair are different. Just like repairing a car engine and replacing it with a new unit. Repairing a movement may include replacing certain parts but not the entire movement.

Anyway good if you can swap the movement out, as long as it keeps your watch running.

The solar divers look good. Go for it if you want a sports chrono.

RM400 for the Solar Chrono Diver? Don't think they come this cheap, even auctions on the bay go for more than 600 bucks.
