Enjoy your new jewel! Do update us on the accuracy.
I see my SKX007J has a better accuracy compared to my dusty SKZ267K1. I hardly reset the watch.

Spamming soem pictures in this thread.
![]() ![]() ![]() Pictured is my SKX007J. Obviously the pictures are far from lanatir's level LOL. I just cleaned the watch with shaving foam; molested the nooks and crevices with a used toothbrush. |

Nice shot. I wonder if those Lumi Brite on old Seikos still holding its' full brightness in dark. I'm thinking modding my Seiko with Tritium, but then I don't know where to start.

Meh I don't think so. I like the idea of 'no expiry date' of Lume Brite, than '12 years' of Tritium. I changed my mind. Just like that LOL.

Hi nickfun,
From Seiko website, your Seiko model no. is SPC007P1, Velatura Yachting Timer (caliber 7T84). You can google around the prices. Edit: From this website http://anazuhud.blogspot.com/ if you scroll down, you'll find almost similar watch at RM1680. This post has been edited by LEVIATHAN: May 24 2011, 01:46 PM |

I owned 1x SKX007J, bought for RM700 something from Singapore. I won't buy another diver until I become a commercial diver myself.
That's my promise to my self. So those poisonous pictures won't hurt me. LOL. |

Nao I'm moving to a new house, so I'm thinking of buying a Seiko wall clock to be the main clock in the house. Is there any suggestion?

According to SeiyaJapan, the price is 4,757.00 USD, which equivalent to 14,173.52 MYR, based on conversion at XE.com.
In case you are interested, the model is SBDB001. |

I saw a lot of awesome diving watches here, so my foolish assumption is that you gaise at least got interest in diving. I mean, the actual diving.
If you are a fresh grad with mechanical or electrical background, still looking for the first job, or simply a technician you may want to check my thread here: http://goo.gl/r71aH I have a diving-related job for you :-) |

Bad news. I was at 12 meters underwater for two hours doing lifting, and when I surfaced the crystal of my SKX007J is foggy. I found out that its' screwdown crown was not fully tightened.
Now the fog is gone, however my main concern is the damages done to its' internal parts. Saltwater is a real b**** when it comes to eating equipment, we all know that. So what are my options here? I'm two months away from home and I have no idea where to send the watch for proper servicing in WA. |

Regarding the attached picture of a diver earlier, one thing I can confirm is that particular Seiko answered its call of duty, and did dives to as shallow as 9 meter, and as deep as 54 meter. No dive missed. Not even once.
A proud Seiko. Enjoy your Seiko guys :-) |
