macbook pro. XPS 14 LCD display is apparently more awesome than the mbp display (anandtech review) and the speakers are also very good. and there's backlit keyboard.... specs is same as EA36 iirc.

When do you need your laptop? you might wanna wait for a hands on with the XPS. The brush metal design is sexy might be a good trade for thickness?

wat diff between Dell 15 and Dell 15R ? I check the spec like same just different casing color

1. Brand - Any reliable brand (do all of them have international warranty? will be using it overseas)
2. Budget - Less than rm3000
3. Specs - For normal usage, lotsa multitasking! music, video, webcam, the occasional photoshop, video editing (maybe i'll finally be able to play sims3 w/o the entire laptop laggingg? :DDD)
4. Size. - 14''/15''?

Is e build quality of the Dell inspiron 15r up to par with the acer 4820tg?? Like, if you had to choose either, which one would you go for?

I just check my new Acer Aspire 4738G box after 2 days bought it. I notice that there is no ACER CD or any CD in that box. I assume the ACER CD must be given together with the new laptop right?

Is it missing or it's a new policy? The laptop was the last stock (used as pameran laptop) available. I didn't contact the seller yet because already night. Just to ask here 1st.

I want a good looking, sleek laptop like the Asus U43JC (Bamboo Edition), i5 450M + Nvidia G310M.
Is the processor of i5 450 slow?

At a price of approximately 3.8-4k, is the laptop worth the price? I've seen some laptop with the same processor priced at a much lower price. 

The Acer 3820TG looks kinda sleek to me, will take that into my consideration.  Do you know of any other laptops that have good specs and nice looking at a reasonable price?

Is  the ''Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 720QM : 1.6 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz'' any faster than ''Intel® Core™ i5 Processor 540M/520M/430M : 2.53 GHz - 2.26 GHz, with Turbo Boost up to 3.06/2.93/2.53 GHz'' considering that the stock speed of 720QM is just 1.6ghz before overclocking. Anyone can clarify on this please?

Btw the Acer Aspire 5943G looks really nice.

Lee, WTA bout acer travelmte 4050(old model),my keyboard when crazy..suddenly letter G & H appear like sumbody press G & H continously..same thng hppen 2 window button, F4 & ' ..oredi restrt, shutdown, remove keyboard driver(wndow installd it back at strtup)..currently using external keyboard..still hard 2 type..
