QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 10 2010, 10:35 AM) If in google map, you're able to find location, but how to find our location using trial papago x5? I have no idea since I'm new to this gps software. I am not sure about this but I find that the trial version has all the functionality of a full version. It is only that you need to click on trial button before you can use the software.

QUOTE(hxcpride @ Oct 11 2010, 12:05 AM) Anyone dare to take the risk to do this on their SGS??lets try and scratch/smash the SGS Gorilla Glass...korean style! ENJOY! does this means that its safe not to use screen protector anymore?? I saw a guy bring his SGS to lowyat for fixing before. that is because his SGS screen is cracked. Dunno how it happens but it does happens. So try anything not normal. Just treat it as a glass. that way it will be safer.

I saw Maxis promotion for SGS at OneUtama yesterday, at LG level new wing. The deal is sweet. RM1099 for 2 years contract and then there is a free gift~ external speaker (looks really nice) that comes with the package.... Not sure what is the catch, didn't go ask for details...

QUOTE(hxcpride @ Oct 12 2010, 11:56 AM) ive been using speech to text input, so cool! your phone talks haha. why do u want to use original android keybord on sgs? im using swype btw swype can do speech to text?? How? I use Vlingo mostly, but it still needs data to work, so sometimes I might at places where signal is not strong and I need to wait for it thinking quite some time, and that kind of piss me off.

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 12 2010, 04:18 PM) No rebate though. Really sucks have to go back 12months contract. I just can't handle the pain of shock bill despite data plan if exceed 500mb, it charge 0.10kb/10cent (?). Two time I get shock bill, all exceed RM200. So I go for 3GB, peace of mind (except have to go back 12 months) I thought it is 1cent per 1kb. But my contract says I cannot change plan once I commit to 500Mb data plan. Did you have to pay any penalty when you change your data plan?

Apps that leave a sensor bug running all the time that constantly drains your battery life:
1. PapagoX5 (The first I discover) 2. Abduction (it is a game) 3. Drocap2
Anyone discover anything new can add on to the list..
Added on October 13, 2010, 8:08 amSamsung New Push Email & Push IM:
I left the two apps on all the time when I go to sleep. Battery consumption is 8% when I woke up this morning. 1-2% more than before. I slept around 8 hours.
Like the Push Email (it really works) but not the push IM (it works too but lacking many features).

Have to install market-enabler to see back all the apps that gone missing from the market even though it is free. Strange. I thought all free apps are supposed to be shown.. I think we should just do whatever we want to do with the phone, open live wallpaper if you like it, sync apps as many times as you feel like it. Msg apps, weather apps, feed apps, news apps, let them running all the time. Don't care so much about the battery life, after all it is not like you gonna feel happy optimizing your battery life. In fact, I feel happy doing the opposite. Just charge when it reaches your low battery limit as many times a day you want. The battery is replaceable, not like iphone. We can have spare battery if want. Warranty is only one year, battery warranty could be less. This tell us one thing that the battery is not gonna last long no matter how we want to use it. Btw, I am trying to buy a dock for my SGS. Any recommendations?
