It will be nice to have since most of the cheaper phones has backlit keys/buttons. Not asking for capacitive buttons but at least a backlit physical button. Anyway, still a very high value for money phone.

Is there any significant battery usage between 2G and 3G? I leave it on overnight, 12am - 10am, from 99% go to 35%. 1st time smart phone user

Yes, when you set it to 2G, your mobile data/internet will only run at GPRS/EDGE which will reduce battery consumption as compared to running on 3G/HSDPA speeds.
Recommended to switch off mobile data/internet when not in use. Contrary to this, I manage to get a much better battery life with WiFi turn on all the time. Of course Android will auto switch off WiFi when your screen is off I would assume it is WiFi sleep mode. QUOTE(BlueSpark @ Nov 14 2010, 12:11 PM) |

I usually put wifi on 24hrs. My phone can standby for more than 1 day and the battery will be at 40% the next night. If i do heavy usage it will drain out to 20% in 1 day. My brightness setting is 40% only.

Currently im using a N97 slider pouch, dunno whether can fit with the case on anot. |
