Alright, last week I went night driving alone just for f***s. From USJ went to Banting and then towards Kajang. When I reached Kajang I suddenly remembered that my friend told me the trunk road from Seremban towards KL will have to pass by a Chinese cemetery and that road itself is freaking scary.
So, stupidly I went to Seremban through PLUS highway, and once I reached the town, I headed straight to the old road. The beginning was quite ok where I have to pass by a hilly road where my surroundings are all residential homes. At first I thought it was kinda eerie, probably was because of the big trees surrounding. Then I kept going.
During that time, I was kinda singing while listening to the songs played, then I started to feel uncomfortable and start to chant some Buddhist mantras with the radio kept playing. By this time, I am passing through the forest pass stretch between Seremban and Mantin. Any of you guys who knew that road will certainly know that there aren't any streetlamp in this stretch. The road was completely dark, no cars no shit. From time to time I will take a quick glance at my rear mirror. Pitch black. After a few minutes I noticed a wooden stall by the roadside, at first I thought it was a bus stop. Then I saw another one not far from the first one, it was pretty obvious those are fruit stalls. Then I noticed something, I forgot this is the third or the fourth fruit stall. A 'lady' and 'her' child.
A Malay lady to be precise because I remember it was a shiny colored baju kurung and she was holding the hand of 'her' child. They were looking across the road, I remember that the kid was quite paled skin. I got freaked out, start to step hard on the accelerator and zoom past them. It was 1.30 or so in the midnight. I was driving like a mad man until I saw the first light at Mantin. At the traffic light there, I stopped and chill out and look at my rear mirror just to be sure that 'they' did not follow me. Then I saw a car coming very fast, a taxi flew past me jumping the red light. Maybe he saw 'them' too? I don't know. After that, I went and out and go straight to the nearest highway exit and go home.
Maybe she need you fetch her child to hospital or somewhere else....
