I admit this video is somewhat making me like an arsehole for thinking he doesn't know this. BUT, thing is, Ferreira just put his leg out and that's it. He's not 16. He's friggin 31 YO! Didn't he learn how to play against a dribbler? Not Bosingwa. Ivanovic would know HOW! Yes Baines should've stopped while he's trying to dribble, and I admit partly was midfielders and striker's fault too. He made it look like there is someone behind him to cover in case he fails, that pisses me off.

Everybody know about Paulo's quality....So i decided not to blame on him smile.gif

wow. its been awhile since i was royally pissed off by a chelsea performance, and the rubbish that was served up today really blew my top..more than once. the midfield and especially attack look clueless, with a distinct lack of ideas and pace flowing throughout the entire team. everyone bar cech, terry and mikel should be ashamed of themselves. one nil up and we start playing like the away side for heaven's sake.

essien's return sure as hell did not have the galvanising effect that we all hoped for, and now that i think about it ramires should've kept his place. the bison is clearly rusty and i don't remember him doing anything apart from miscontrolling the ball like 6 billion times. every one of our outfield players joined in the fun too. what was really sad though was seeing everton players effortlessly controlling about 90% of all their passes.

rightly pointed out by belph, bosingwa wouldn't have just stuck out a leg and let baines through. no excuse for that whatsoever. but then again, who the hell was supposed to mark beckford and coleman? the ball shouldn't have reached their striker, period.

a chance to temporarily go top and this is what they do. all the boos that rang out at full time were fully deserved, and i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a frustrated fan ran on to the field to give some of the players a piece of his mind. btw if nico or kalou isn't dropped in favour of sturridge for the next match, i wouldn't blame him for putting in a transfer request in january. wouldn't blame him at all.

positives? john terry. that's it.
mark my words, spurs will be a nightmare.

p. s : tim cahill is still one of, if not THE dirtiest player in the premier league. should've saw red for his late lunge towards cech's face and u could see why terry was upset. the thug didn't receive as much as a warning from the ref, while terry gets a card for holding cahill's hand which he used to push our captain FIRST. even in their last game when everton were getting their asses handed to them by west brom, that brainless numbskull stamped on gonzalo jara's heels twice, and the ref did absolutely nothing. officials don't seem to act against tim cahill and its mind boggling. maybe they're all secretly in love with the australian, i don't know.

Totally agree with you. Really pissed off from start 2nd half until final whistle. Sometimes, I feel Carlo dont have any back up plan AT ALL. Every BPL Manager want to face Chelsea at the moment because they already know what to do, what to plan, what tactic they need to use because Chelsea tactic, gameplay easily predicted.

Still no need to buy in January Mr Carlo? Hopefully u still there because Roman ready to make the decision anytime

Its pure dissapointment. Its like you watch two different Chelsea team before and after half time.

Fortunately, its still mid of the season. Suck up all the criticism and patch up what ever needed.

Its now or never.

Where is the fight back spirit?!!! Players are lazy and careless.
Another problem is the way how they play. The tactics and strategy didn't work.
It should be the responsibility of CA.
I can't keep my anger after that match!
I released my anger via Twitter..LOL!!

the first half performance was good, the tempo was high but in the second half, they were awful. everton pushed on another gear and at last, they got themselves an equaliser which they deserved in my opinion...

i missed the earlier portion of the first half, but i'll take the word of those who watched and concurred at least the tempo was high. well imo that tempo should've been replicated in the second half, and again this raises questions of the fitness of our senior players. the same issue keeps popping up doesn't it? i'm beginning to see a worrying pattern here..

besides that i don't see how seamus coleman's desperate 'tackle' on ashley was legal. he was waiting to tap it into an empty net after great work from paulo (though he didn't do nuts in defense) down the touchline, and although one of the commentators was wetting himself saying how it was such an awesome challenge, it wasn't. i thought maybe ashley mistimed his run or paulo's cross wasn't accurate but it was picture perfect. coleman clattered into ashley even before the ball had reached him and it was a clear penalty. it doesn't take a FIFA expert to tell u that you're supposed to challenge for the ball, not the man. ashley was brought down when he couldn't miss and coleman knew exactly what he was doing. learning a lot from cahill already i presume.

that would've put us up 2-0, and like i said before we're just not catching the breaks at the moment. we have to work harder but it doesn't seem like anything can get us out of this rut. if i could chip in a BM expression, 'mati akal' would be the perfect description of how our team play has looked for the the past 4,5 games.

gry, although i agree tactics play a huge part in winning a game, i'm not sure we can pin everything on carlo. because miscontrolling the ball countless times and awful finishing sure as hell has nothing to do with tactics.

Good article mate.
Next match Spurs?
control the ball well and be brave enough to shoot.
I wish I can speak to Carlo or Terry now.

Yea first half was brilliant,I was thinking it's been a long time since I last seen them play that wonderful, thinking that at last December wouldn't be so bad, turns out 2nd half was abysmal as hell

And also there was one time where one Everton defender(the nigger I think),he handled the ball but the referee didn't see it,I thought that should be a penalty, even the commentators said so,if the referee had seen it it was a penalty already.

And I feel it's the players themselves who are damn lazy and complacent, not the tactics, our tactics worked brilliantly in the first half, but 2nd half, dunno wat happened at all..absymal..

Anelka getting slow and old,Kalou inconsistent,Drogba not good even though he scored that penalty(that was a lucky pass from Phil Neville, and it was never a penalty,Anelka jumped into Howard, damn obvious),and we were lucky to be 1-0 up,that was never a penalty, but anyway if Howard hadn't did that Anelka would have scored anyway, but it was still lucky..

And the substitutions was damn BIZZARE,Ramires for Anelka?Pathetic..Ferreira for Bosingwa? What the hell for?Bosingwa isn't fully fit?Thought he played for Portugal that day for a full 90 mins..and Sturridge for Mikel..that was ok as I could see Sturridge switching place with Ramires..And even Cech himself was dumbfounded with the substitution of Ramires for Anelka..Don't believe?Go watch the game again, pay every single attention to detail..and people on Soccernet are saying that Carlo's the one who's afraid and his substitutions mirrors that,I kind of agree really..really really dumb substitutions

If I was the manager I would drop the out of form players,no questions,I play FM11 and I don't care how the players feel laugh.gif ,lol I bet some of you guys feel like replacing Carlo now?

And oh yea,Everton should have got a full 3 points,no denying that

I can't believe Kalou was still on the field at the end of the game.

Replacing Mikel with Sturridge just forces the defense to play long balls to the forwards

Carlo needs to improve his substitution IMO.

Oh yea, after watching the highlight, I see our players break down opponent attack very slow. We should break it down by very fast.

And, our players are not finding some space, just keep standing infront of opponent players doh.gif

Yah,wtf u think happen to them?Like Carlo said:

QUOTE
We are working to play a particular kind of football and I don't understand why we have changed it. We have to look at it and I have to understand and change it. I don't think it is a problem of concentration. Everybody knew it was a very important game for us to move on from the difficult moment we are still in.

Why 2nd half they totally collapse? They didn't listen to the manager's instructions is it doh.gif

Mentality not good. First half of season after score goals also always like this. Slowly move ball around to maintain lead

But when fight teams that press hard (eg: everton,), sure die

I for one, standing still on my comment. Frank James Lampard will bring us back to winning form. But if you expect him to restore the winning ways right when he starts especially facing Man Utd then it's just too much to ask for.
