wow. its been awhile since i was royally pissed off by a chelsea performance, and the rubbish that was served up today really blew my top..more than once. the midfield and especially attack look clueless, with a distinct lack of ideas and pace flowing throughout the entire team. everyone bar cech, terry and mikel should be ashamed of themselves. one nil up and we start playing like the away side for heaven's sake.
essien's return sure as hell did not have the galvanising effect that we all hoped for, and now that i think about it ramires should've kept his place. the bison is clearly rusty and i don't remember him doing anything apart from miscontrolling the ball like 6 billion times. every one of our outfield players joined in the fun too. what was really sad though was seeing everton players effortlessly controlling about 90% of all their passes.
rightly pointed out by belph, bosingwa wouldn't have just stuck out a leg and let baines through. no excuse for that whatsoever. but then again, who the hell was supposed to mark beckford and coleman? the ball shouldn't have reached their striker, period.
a chance to temporarily go top and this is what they do. all the boos that rang out at full time were fully deserved, and i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a frustrated fan ran on to the field to give some of the players a piece of his mind. btw if nico or kalou isn't dropped in favour of sturridge for the next match, i wouldn't blame him for putting in a transfer request in january. wouldn't blame him at all.
positives? john terry. that's it.
mark my words, spurs will be a nightmare.
p. s : tim cahill is still one of, if not THE dirtiest player in the premier league. should've saw red for his late lunge towards cech's face and u could see why terry was upset. the thug didn't receive as much as a warning from the ref, while terry gets a card for holding cahill's hand which he used to push our captain FIRST. even in their last game when everton were getting their asses handed to them by west brom, that brainless numbskull stamped on gonzalo jara's heels twice, and the ref did absolutely nothing. officials don't seem to act against tim cahill and its mind boggling. maybe they're all secretly in love with the australian, i don't know.
Totally agree with you. Really pissed off from start 2nd half until final whistle. Sometimes, I feel Carlo dont have any back up plan AT ALL. Every BPL Manager want to face Chelsea at the moment because they already know what to do, what to plan, what tactic they need to use because Chelsea tactic, gameplay easily predicted.
Still no need to buy in January Mr Carlo? Hopefully u still there because Roman ready to make the decision anytime
