Mikel is a good signing. Give him a bit time to settle down. Drogba took one season to shine at Chelsea. Anelka need some time to settle down. Alex, ivanovic also need time.

He is regular for Brazil national team at the moment. Why? Because he hava good quality.

Something tired to see Chelsea play. Today perfomances same when lose to Man City and Liverpool but the difference is Chelsea managed to win against Fulham.

Too straight forward. I mean, when Drogba not at this best, when midfield lack of creativity, when Malouda and Kalou too preditable. Chelsea really missed Lampard at the moment. U can lose Lampard for one or two games but when it takes 5 or 6 match, Lampard really needed at midfield deparment.

I think Chelsea really need new player. Player who can bring creativity, impact when needed.

Should Carlo make some changes in the tactics?? every game 4-3-3, seems his job quite easily tongue.gif Hey...im guarantee with you, if we meet jose in UCL, we will fall down again doh.gif
*
totally agree.. same to last season, Carlo too obsessed with 4-4-2 diamond and Chelsea start to play poorly. It happen again this season when 4-3-3 is his prefered formation this season. Same tactic meaning easy job for others manager to overcame Chelsea tactic.

Chelsea also need new striker. DO u think Drogba and Anelka will deliver every week?

IMO, malouda is vanishing because of Zhirkov.
Can't play malouda zhirkov and ashley cole at the same time!!
*
Agree. No balance at the team. Malouda left, zhirkov also left but play as centre midfield. Where is right winger? Anelka? He is striker, not a winger..Not balance at all. If Arsenal can trust Wilshere, why Carlo cant give chances to Josh to prove himself.? He is better than Ramires..

Regarding subtitution that Carlo made, I cannot understand. Sometimes he choose Sturridge, today for Kakuta. So how these young kids can improve themselves?

Fereira at CB? rclxub.gif Bruma is available but why Carlo?

Ok now this is the point where can be like other thread when we lose, the in fighting . Or we can just stop and ponder , take a breather and see the view from the TOP of the table ya'all .. ( cause we may not be there come next month)
*
It show how much we care about this club. We can accept a lose but if we lose because lack of comitment, lack of creativity, complacent too much because MU already dropped point.

3 lose already from 13 games, rclxub.gif

Since both of our main towers are gone, I really hope that Bruma gets the chance since he's our only natural CB after Ivanovic after Ferreira's performance against Sunderland.

Injury list: Alex (6-8 weeks), Terry (Uncertain), Essien (1-2 weeks) , Lampard (2 weeks), Benayoun (3-4 weeks)

So at the moment our best lineup for our back 4 would be; Bosingwa-Bruma-Ivanovic-Cole. Now this injury crisis got me thinking, should we summon Mancienne back to Chelsea? hmm.gif He's 22 this year and I reckon we should recall him since he's been loyal to Chelsea and having alot of first team experience with Wolves since 2008.

Brace yourselves guys. It's going to be couple of rough weeks for us. sad.gif

totally agree with u. At the moment, Bruma and Mancienne are needed. With Iva alongside Bruma or Mancienne, I think they can adapt the pressure very well plus Ashley and Bosingwa can give them confidence.

Same old story for Chelsea! Last season lucky to win EPL because others team didnt turn out to win it, this season, with squad age growing older, no major signing except unproven Brazilian player.

January trasfer is a MUST. Chelsea lack of width. Chelsea badly need winger. Robben type of pplayers are needed such as Albrighton, Adam Johnson while new striker also needed.

Ancelotti need to change formation.

Hate to say it again. Chelsea really need new player. Need winger especially. Too narrow without enough width. Lacking width cost Chelsea 11 point in November.

I dont think Kalou can become better player since from Chelsea signed him until now, his progress look stagnant. Not much improvement. Sturidge play some good part today but next week, Ancelotti will chose Kakuta. So improvement always limited.

I can see only Ivanovic, Ashley,Malouda really look to win the game, others aihhh especially Anelka and Drogba. Apart from that, I dont think Ancelotti have backup plan. Tactically too predicted.

Adam Johnson,Albrighton, can give something fresh that Chelsea badly needed at the moment. At the midfield, no one look can give something special like through ball or magic touch to attacking part while since Lampard out, everybody seem not brave enough to try from long distance.

Tired to see Anelka, Kalou and Drogba lately.

For me, Anelka and Drogba really poor. Premier League need pace. I dont know what they can offer to Chelsea especially Anelka until the end of the season.

Kalou totally the same player from the signing day until today. Not much improvement. Better give others player chances.

Lack of width plus too narrow. Lack of creativity at the midfield. No players brave enough to shoot from long distance.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Dec 5 2010, 02:41 AM)
wow. its been awhile since i was royally pissed off by a chelsea performance, and the rubbish that was served up today really blew my top..more than once. the midfield and especially attack look clueless, with a distinct lack of ideas and pace flowing throughout the entire team. everyone bar cech, terry and mikel should be ashamed of themselves. one nil up and we start playing like the away side for heaven's sake.

essien's return sure as hell did not have the galvanising effect that we all hoped for, and now that i think about it ramires should've kept his place. the bison is clearly rusty and i don't remember him doing anything apart from miscontrolling the ball like 6 billion times. every one of our outfield players joined in the fun too. what was really sad though was seeing everton players effortlessly controlling about 90% of all their passes.

rightly pointed out by belph, bosingwa wouldn't have just stuck out a leg and let baines through. no excuse for that whatsoever. but then again, who the hell was supposed to mark beckford and coleman? the ball shouldn't have reached their striker, period.

a chance to temporarily go top and this is what they do. all the boos that rang out at full time were fully deserved, and i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a frustrated fan ran on to the field to give some of the players a piece of his mind. btw if nico or kalou isn't dropped in favour of sturridge for the next match, i wouldn't blame him for putting in a transfer request in january. wouldn't blame him at all.

positives? john terry. that's it.
mark my words, spurs will be a nightmare.

p. s : tim cahill is still one of, if not THE dirtiest player in the premier league. should've saw red for his late lunge towards cech's face and u could see why terry was upset. the thug didn't receive as much as a warning from the ref, while terry gets a card for holding cahill's hand which he used to push our captain FIRST. even in their last game when everton were getting their asses handed to them by west brom, that brainless numbskull stamped on gonzalo jara's heels twice, and the ref did absolutely nothing. officials don't seem to act against tim cahill and its mind boggling. maybe they're all secretly in love with the australian, i don't know.
*
Totally agree with you. Really pissed off from start 2nd half until final whistle. Sometimes, I feel Carlo dont have any back up plan AT ALL. Every BPL Manager want to face Chelsea at the moment because they already know what to do, what to plan, what tactic they need to use because Chelsea tactic, gameplay easily predicted.

Still no need to buy in January Mr Carlo? Hopefully u still there because Roman ready to make the decision anytime
