QUOTE(zellleonhart @ May 7 2011, 02:40 PM) Awesome. This playbook after paired with bb phone and keyboard it's like entertainment hub + email + bbm + social network + media center and a mini computer! Yea. Pair for first time and it worked flawlessly.BTW the keyboard can just be easily paired using bluetooth? Only apple keyboard? Other bluetooth keyboard can? I bet other BT keyboard will work as well too. |

Today managed to connect to both Apple wireless KB and Logitech BT mouse.
Both work same time and first time pair. The mouse scroll wheel is working. U perform gesture by holding right button and swipe. Pretty cool!! |

QUOTE(DiCkWaD @ May 10 2011, 11:21 AM) Y d PB thread so quiet? I would suggest not to charge your PB or any device from Car ciggy outlet. That is because the current is not stable. QUOTE(alieamin @ May 11 2011, 09:50 AM) "The reason of PB been delayed all over asian market due to bugs found." BBM already working fine on latest OS1.0.3.1868 except Group Chat I dont think that is the valid reason to delay the launch anymore.e.g bbm cant work on PB. (but i believe it work on latest firmware right?) This is the answer i got so far from Brightstar. They giving me this excuse because i keep pushing them Anyway, I got an extra unit of Playbook 16gb coming in 1 week time. Anyone interested? Price is below RM1650. |

But am satisfy with the batt life because can last all day U should do a full reset by press 3 buttons together (Power, Vol + and -) Anyway, anyone with spare BB9700 that want to trade with Brand new Playbook can go to my thread. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1877405 This post has been edited by mikelanding: May 14 2011, 03:59 PM |

QUOTE(Arif Che Man @ May 14 2011, 09:29 PM) Mike, thanks for your answer. I have checked windows firewall. It allow tight VNC, but still cannot connect How about port forwarding in your router? U might need to do it on your router site.PLs refer to this link: http://www.realvnc.com/support/portforward.html File transfer between PC and Playbook is really easy and simple even without cable. Beat the iOS file transfer kaw kaw First U need to do is enable Wifi Sharing in the setting: ![]() After that, Playbook will appear on your PC under Network: ![]() Who need Itune sync or other 3rd party app just for this simple task? |

QUOTE(g3m @ May 15 2011, 11:54 AM) Mike, Your batt drain is bad. Do a full reset now and monitor more.my batt not doing good. unplug charger at 4am (99%), woke up at 730am and left 78% batt ... below are the scene 1. wifi - OFF 2. BT - OFF 3. left some games and apps running behind 4. i dont 'off' my PB pressing the ON/OFF button, i jus let it 'sleeps off'... so, 21% over 3 half hrs with above is BAD rite? btw, when shd i do the FULL RESET? whats the main purpose of doing it? pls advise. thks Just do a full reset anytime. To pro-long batt life: 1) set Brightness to lowest that you can tolerate 2) Set sleep timer to lower 3) Close unwanted app/game |

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ May 15 2011, 12:36 PM) some playbook units recalled. Seem like a early batch from the Serial number.just like what happened to the Torch "Mexico 2 set".. http://crackberry.com/rim-recalling-over-9...k-if-yours-list use CTRL+F to locate. 16GB units affected, 900 serial numbers. Mine is from Shopblackberry.com which start with 13432666XXXX . Not affected RIM is at least responsible and own up to their defect product. Not like other that denied outright their problem which is far more severe than this. "Antennagate, Screen leakage at Ipad2 now" to name a few. Added on May 15, 2011, 12:44 pm QUOTE(DiCkWaD @ May 15 2011, 12:40 PM) My PB apps crash occasionally wen I switch apps.. Esp. FB for PB.. Anyone encounter these problems as well or am I d only 1 with a dodgy PB? Nope. mine is just stable. Didnt notice a crash for few days already.App start up can b quite slow sometimes, compared 2 d iFad. Keyboard could b better though.. tired of clicking the sym button evrytime wanna key in d ' symbol. Nonetheless, I'm still loving my PB heaps! Can't imagine me carrying a iFad out everyday like my PB due to d size issue.. D iFad is now left @ home all d time & hasn't been touched since I got my PB.. But some apps really have poor coding or design that affect the PB experience. This post has been edited by mikelanding: May 15 2011, 12:44 PM |
