Take out the SD card in your BB (assume your pic is in you BB SD), plug into PC, then transfer via USB to the playbook.

All BB can bridge. Bridge is via Bluetooth to your BB and surf with your BB's 3G connection.

Obviously if you don't have WiFi around the area, bridge is the only way for your Playbook to get online via your BB. Unless you have other phone that you can turn on WiFi hotspot sharing.

Am thinking of upgrading my wife's 9780. Given that OS10 doesnt fully support PB / BB Bridge, should i upgrade to 9900 or 9790 instead of say Q5?

What would you guys suggest?

If you plan to use PB do not upgrade to BlackBerry 10 phones.

My PB is in the drawer since I got my Z10. BB Bridge doesn't do anything other than tethering. Which I don't use as Mobile Hotspot is far better.

Now it is only meant for in-flight entertainment.

I would throw mine and get a Nexus 7 if I were in your situation. Luckily my PB is still charging well.
