Can't access my Gmail webmail using the PB browser, it just closes whenever I sign into www.google.com/mail. Anyone having the same problem? I now resort to using Dolphin Browser.
No problem at all in my Pb browser. Working well in SimpleBrowser+ as well. Clear your cache and cookies, close the browser and open again. Then try again see if it works now
Sorry, but how do I make sure that the codec is mpeg4? My OS is latest.
In your computer, open the mkv using Media Player Classic, and go File > Properties.
You can see what video codec it is using. Usually the audio codec is the problem because many mkvs are already using mpeg4 but they use AC3 audio which is not supported by PlayBook.
You need to convert the audio part of the mkv to aac/mp3 using softwares like avidemux. If you are not good in this you have to do some research..
- DO NOT PLUG it into your computer (see #1 above) - DO PLUG it into the wall charger a few minutes, then UNPLUG... - Do the "reset" either hold Power only, or Power+Volume Up+Volume Down for 10-15 seconds (while not plugged in) - Plug into wall charger again, see if charges. If not, unplug, let it sit a few minutes - Then plug in again, and repeat previous 2 steps. - You may get NO blink at all, or Red Blink with 5 Flashing Green... Keep repeating. - Eventually will show Red blink for a long time, then green/orange showing charge. - Avoid booting up Playbook for a few minutes as it will draw power again... Let it charge. After some time you can boot up and then let it sit in standby while charging.

Lol Ji3moon I think your computer got adware/virus, the screenshot shows ipmart forum (I actually am a member) and in your PM to me shows www.flyingspaghettimonster.com.
I bought and tried... can play AC3 codec and flv etc well. Some rmvb works some don't.
I tried an 1 hour video with AC3, the video lags but when use AAC no problem... i think they have to improve on AC3 playback support. It can play HD videos as well like the native player.
Ermm and flv with too high bitrate it won't play. Subtitle support is good though.
