I want to find another job, but right now, I feel comfortable with my current job, good raise every year. about 7-10%.

Should I find part time work as well too?

much more confortable means more than you? if so i believe she will be able to help some eventhough need to support siblings. howeever these are just my 2cents. I'm not sure how heavy your wife burden is so I can't really comment.

cut unifi. think how many hours you at home after work? few hours only. And weekend better spend time with family - take wife and baby out jln-jln

by cutting unifi, you can do some part time. Maybe acquire a skill -jual nasi lemak, kuih muih in the morning or else weekend do something your interest that can sell..

how come makan pagi spend more then makan tengahari? can cut makan pagi to cheaper like 180 too? thus save another 60

so if u cut unifi, cut makan pagi a bit, baki 320 per month not bad..

tongue.gif
unless u say u want to sell things online thus u need internet ..maybe streamyx 1mb enough around 110, u still save 40 ,

baki after cut unifi downgrade to streamyx 1MB and cut makan breakfast a bit, baki RM 210

I think doing some part time/overtime can increase RM500-600 extra

thus u can set target save RM1K per month...

Can get part time income la. But this is just my opinion. Choose wisely b4 you start working hard. The right choice is more important than just work hard.

I like help others live their best lives. There is no better way to grow than to help others grow. Ultimately, the world is one. We are all in this together.

That is why I share here in personal financial management with the fresh graduate a plan that works for me by doing some savings able to buy a hse and car cash..Live life without liabilities ... smile.gif

Hi, do you mind sharing what insurance policy you hold (and how much coverage, premium)? I'm curious how a frugal person manages insurance protection. Thanks!

hi sifu,

i hv income for rm2.4k and having saving for 500 every month.

feels like the 500 wont generate any interest in return if i save it and plan to have some investment(public mutual fund) instead of putting the money in bank.

Is that a good move for my current condition? need a piece of precious advice from sifu here...
