WB is playing on a whole different plane of investing / speed-of-money-flow game compared to little ol me, like comparing a human (WB) to an ant (me), however that won't deter me from working towards what i can do at my level He could just walk in to Bank Of China to borrow at 1% through QE 2 |

I didnt, coz dont have evidence. He said to apply for the loan, i have to pay initial payment of rm358 as procedure fees for stanp duty and service fees by cash and signed some documents. I thought with the documents, it is relatively secured. After 2 weeks, the loan still havent approved yet, then i go back to the bank and asked him. He said i didnt receive any fees from me and i asked for the document i had signed, the said we didnt entered into any contract prior to this. Any other evidence can corroborate i had paid the fees?

Example how to buy stock, where to buy bond fund? Diff btw funds etc. a real step by step for the 'katak bawah tempurung'. A lot of start up guide for newbie only talks about diff of each type of investment funds. Who should select what etc. at the end, how do we actually start? |

That needs a bigger meaning in Life and the whys you should cut your expenses. Something called " delayed gratification " Without which, quite meaningless or directionless. Which is important (increase or keep) VS which is unimportant (cut down) coz most of us have limited resources VS unlimited wants. |

QUOTE(wongmunkeong @ Apr 17 2012, 02:16 PM) Like what bro Sky said, it's "prioritization" in other words. Well , the killing part could be the loan of 1.5K , if settled off with some savings , then monthly saving of 2k plus would be quite ok to me.Which is important (increase or keep) VS which is unimportant (cut down) coz most of us have limited resources VS unlimited wants. Expenses look quite ok to me. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 17 2012, 05:46 PM |

Do not increase your expenses. 4. Cut down on expenses, if possible. 5. Additional savings can be used to pay down debts if appropriate or as you suggested, save in ASB. 6. Seek an additional income ... give tuition?. 7. It is going to be more challenging when you have children. |

QUOTE(aliex87 @ Apr 17 2012, 09:32 AM) Hi guys, need some advice here. I started working last january and married. Both of us are gov teachers. This is our financial details: Majority of people would spend first, save later. Very little realised that by practising saving prior to spending enables one to have a better control over their expenditure and at the same time, having sufficient money to grow over time, which enables them to achieved their objective by the end of the day. My Salary: RM2222 My Wife: RM2222 My Allwnce: RM 700 My Wife: RM700 Total: RM5844 This is my monthly spending: Total: RM5051.84 Balance: RM792.16 Can anyone advice me on my financial planning? what should i do with the balance? Usually i just dump it in either asb or tabung haji. What should i change in my financial planning? One must know whether what they can or can't afford based on their take home pay. I would recommend you to purchase the following book to read, prior to starting off your investment. Remember, gathering and growing of wealth is just a "strategy" to achieving an "objective" over a pre-determined "time horizon". By having both "objective" and "time horizon" will enables you to determine the kind of risk returned investment vehicles that you should get involved with and the exact amount of investment you should allocate over time. |
