So price now is rm1899? Is it worth? Compare to other Nokias, N8 is high end, compare to other phones only the 12mp cam is top?

I don't use flash as well, because most of my photos include close-up shots. >.< The most i do to handle low light situations is toying with the Exposure compensation and ISO. Unless it's some landscape/portrait photos...

Added on October 3, 2010, 8:53 amN8 is just a mid end, targeted to be more of a multimedia device rather than a business device, for entertainment (although it feels like high end to me), so, don't expect a very fast speed or a very good browser system (none of my concern though, i don't multitask more than 3 apps on a phone), the feature is the hardware aspects and extertainment (camera, HDMI, USB, HD video, Gaming).

High ends are for Business - the E7. The E7 us likely to cost around RM 2400 after tax (before tax is RM 2k). N8 from RM 1525 >> RM 1900 already...

So far the N8 reviews have been impressive

Y everyone think n8 is high end? The device wasnt meant for high end league and nokia mentioned it already that n8 is mid end devices.

Price it in a very mid range pls.... Anything like RM1.5k I would say it is acceptable.... Slightly above it is too close to high end device... Now SGS can get below 2k... Desire even lower...

they thinks that it's high-end as everyone wants one now... too much hypes and waiting for it... hehe...

Nokia N8 is just a rubbish phone compare to this phone :

Admitting it is a mid range device in another word also openly admit it loose to other device....

most of the ppl think that N8 is high end cos of its camera MP(12MP), for the divice itself N8 isnt high end, but N8 camera LENS it is top of the range at the moment, thats why ppl think N8 is high end

I believe my HTC Legend and HTC Desire also cant play 720P smoothly le. Somemore we also dont have BIIIII~~~GGG sensor to take stunning images. Moreover we also dont have PowerSGX graphic processor which is so POWARFUL.

N8 is not just high end, its super duper HIGH ENDDDDDD!!

Nokia say we dont need ARMv7, then we dont need... and we still capable of doing thing better than they did..

Meego is High-end and Symbian will stick with Mid-range phones only

Actually, High End and Mid End is just a term used to classify the phone by its price range, not really by its function/how good it is.

High ends (>RM 2k): E7, Xperia X10, SGS, iPhail 4 (this one because of BRAND only )

Mid-High (RM 1500-2k): N900 (was a high end, now drop liao), N8, S.Wave, Vivaz, Satio

Mid End (RM 1000-1500): X6, C6-01, C7 (sori, less example, i dunno much lower ends bcos i dun care LOL )

Mid-Low (RM500-1k)

Low : Dumbphones

Mid-range price is below 2k

RM1.9k isn't anywhere near mid-range, unless Nokia has plans for RM2.5k "high-end" models

consider iPhone 4 is RM2290, SGS ori is RM21xx, Desire ori is less than RM2k...

Desire and SGS are considered as high-end and they priced just a little more than N8, and that's not even mention about AP set yet

I believe after few month , N8 will be around 1.6k or 1.5k ..

X10 is not high end
SGS is high end
E7 kinda high-end but still it's Symbian (a little bit of a controversy to Nokia's statement)
Iphone 4 (you know lar...for the half-bitten fruit, you pay more)
Vivaz, Satio is kinda mid-low atm I kinda think all Symbian^1 devices demoted to Low and Mid-low already
