Probably another selling point for altek leo is the optical zoom.

Optical Zoom is a plus, but N8 Digital Zoom is something you can't look down. I've seen video that N8 digital zoom is really good IMO.

I have and would never think digital zoom would be any good, until n8 came along, that is. i read it's due to the high resolution.

At first, I never thought digital zoom would be any good as well, and that until I watched video recorded by N8. Impressive.

Not the video recording, camera taking mode. here

It's not all about resolution, the large sensor in the N8 also affect the pictures.

But what make me really amazed is during video recording. Digital zoom from N8 is really good.

i cant believe i'll be getting my 3rd star just because of this N8

no matter how good Digital Zoom is...optical is still better becoz it is the lens adjusting the distance not some fancy software doing so math.... try using some PnS camera and let it zoom until Digital zoom and see how ugly the picture taken are.

Nevertheless Nokia did great with this n8 (better than it N86 brother)

Leo, confirm 9~12?? i still doubt that~ and how they know the price , official price?

We all know that, just wasn't expecting N8's digital zoom was this good.

Just gathered information from people here. I think Official price is RM1899, but others preorder their phone at 16xx to RM1899. Different place different price?
