hehe... never look down on any brand, but when come to designing a gadget all back to the creator dedication... if the Altek/Pana really meant to BEAT the N8 then sure the later camera phone will be more powerful... but if they only would like to get the hype riding then it will still down same as the IXUS 130 when DC photo quality worse then the N8....

3 years ago Nokia look down on a Computer manufacturer for making a phone...

both of altek n Pana is not new in phone.....

as I said.. Pana use a lot Symbian before this...


when talk about design.. remind me Nokia until today still cannot really refine their phone.. some time u can see big gap on their join etc...
look at N8.. the plastic top n bottom.. and see the colour mismatch....

yah dun look down on ur opponent... treat them as ur most precious foe and friend. Becoz this ppl make u a better person (or product)


Nokia look down at their opponent Apple and Google before.... and now what happen to them..... we all know loh. Serious drop of sales on the last decade.

I asked them and they said original. Now, I'm not really sure if they will stick to the RM16XX price so we'll see how when come close to release date.

Their company is listed on Nokia Msia website (they even have Nokia 'certificate' placed on the counter as proof), so maybe they have the correct info on the actual price?

I ordered black, and no deposit made, just put down my name and telephone number.

da last round i went to nokia pavi they asked me to give rm200 as deposit........sigh.....they say its a must and they estimated price at rm 2k....so i dun wan to go for it and told them i will wait and come when its out...

Based on years of experiences, Nokia should better than them in manufacturing phone. Eventhough their not new in phone competition but lack of experiences can result the same thing like Antenna issues. Designing phone can rely on phone designer, let them design the shape/sizes of the phone.

Personally, every phone design have their differences and Nokia phone shows their phone is really different than other phone manufacturer. Every company want their product to be unique and I think it's FINE.

yah... for this round the BIG THANKS should only give to those who design the graphic hw and the camera hw for the N8... then would be the S^3 lah for improve "a bit"... the rest like BT/GPS/Processor/FM/screen res semua should be NO salary increment this year then the battery designer should be SACK or demoted....

OMG...which one is the real one...

Personally, N8 design is GREAT, I love the design and the material it used. But S^3 really need to refined if want to attract people who have been stuck with android and iOS like forever(?). I can ignored S^3 UI, coz functionality came first and I'm already used to Symbian phone.

Hey people. I went to Nokia at the Garden, Mid valley. They told me to pay RM 200 to preorder. Should i go for it?

So far we know RM1899 and some been told RM16xx/RM1800

why go Nokia store order which normally outside dealer can give u usually cheaper price? except they can give something exceptional which outside dealer cannot make it...
